Instructions: For the card base, Cut white card stock 8 inches by 8 inches. Cut another piece 8 inches by 81/2 inches. Score at the 1/2 inch mark on the longer side. Crease and fold. Apply adhesive on the folded tab and adhere to the 8" x8" piece to make a hinged card base that is 8" x 8".
Cut a mat layer from the pattern paper collection that is 1/4 inch smaller on all sides from the card base. Adhere on the card front. Cut another design shown in the card from the pattern paper collection and adhere on the first mat layer leaving 1/4 inch on all four sides.
Stamp images of the large and small carnation flower many times with Rose madder and plum ink. Color with same color and shade the red flowers a little with carnation red ink. Cut with Coordinating die. Stamp the leaves in Library Green ink and shade with Leaf Green ink. Cut with Coordinating die. Shape the flowers and leaves in the flower shaping mold following the instructions in the video links given above.
Cut a sentiment from the Heartfelt Love paper collection using the Eyelet Heart die. Adhere to the top left using foam dots. Cut a banner image from the paper collection using the Banners of Love die and adhere on top of the heart die cut using foam dots. Make an outline of the cage using Nuvo crystal drops.
Cut a cage image from the paper collection. Using foam dots, pop up the cage image on the mat layer.
Stamp images of fanciful carnation from the cling stamp and color with Archival inks. Cut with Coordinating die. Arrange the die cuts on the card front using foam dots. Arrange the flowers and leaves on the card front to finish the card. Add a bow on top of the cage.
