Create the cabinet with 2x shadow box 2 1/2 x 7” and 1x 5 x 7”. To create the 5 x 7” shadow box cut black cardstock to 9 x 11”. Lay portrait in Scor-Pal and score 4x every 1/2” (1/2, 1, 1 1/2, 2”), turn the cardstock and repeat on all 4 sides. Lay the cardstock portrait and score 2 1/2” to the length of 1” and 6 1/2” to the length of 1”. Repeat on the opposite side only. Cut down these new score lines then outward diagonal for the 3rd score line and straight down for the 4th score line and repeat. Cut along the horizontal score lines at 2” until the section is cut away (photos will be on my blog).

Create 2x 2 1/2” shadow box in the same way as before with cardstock cut 6 1/2 x 11”. Lay portrait in Scor-Pal and score 4x every 1/2” (1/2, 1, 1 1/2, 2”), turn the cardstock and repeat on all 4 sides. Lay the cardstock portrait and score for 1” length at 2 1/2” and 4”, repeat on the opposite side and cut as before.

Crease all score lines and adhere both straight sides then pull the shaped sides over the top and adhere (this will give a mitered corner).

To create the cabinet cut 2x 4 1/2 x 7” black cardstock lay portrait and score at 2 1/2 and 3 5/8”. Adhere the small shadow boxes level to the edge between the score lines is the spine and the small tab is to adhere to the back of the 5 x 7” shadow box.

Use Rectangle basics and mat and layer Floral Butterfly edging with Deep Purple and adhere to the back of the cabinet this will cover the tabs. Mat and layer Eyelet Frame Gateway and stamp ‘Thinking of You Today’ with Forget Me Not and Deep Purple (adhere with dots after complete).

Cut to size purple Floral Butterfly Paper Collection and line the inside of the shadow boxes (if prefer add paper to the centre prior to adhering the shadow box sides).

Adhere 2Hinge mats together and secure the magnet within the right-hand side. Adhere the left-hand side only to the cabinet leaving the magnet side free to open and close. (tip: allow the 2nd magnet to attach to the first prior to adhering within the hinge mat to ensure correct way round).

Adhere Luxe Gold corners portrait inside the cabinet. Adhere the butterflies in the centres only with dries clear and add on dots specimen numbers (handwritten).

Adhere the flowers, leaves and butterflies to the fronts of the cabinet.
