Instructions: Cut a piece of white cardstock to 12 x 7" size, score and fold at 6" to create card base. Use the outline die from the HCD1-7263 Swirly Accent Spray Die to create the shaped card base shown. Extend some of the die blade over the folded edge of card base, so as to keep it intact. Cut a piece of teal paper from the Butterfly Dream paper collection to 7 x 7 " size. Use the same outline die again to create the round decorative shape to fit card base. Attach the teal shaped panel onto card base. Now diecut the decorative section of the die from white cardstock 2 times. Use from the HCD1-7156 Eyelet Oval & Basics Small Die to diecut the largest plain oval from white cardstock. Stamp the ‘Thinking of You’ sentiment from HCPC-3848 Cheerful Note Sentiments Cling Stamp Set in Forget-Me-Not ink onto the top half of oval. Dab some Dries Clear glue over decorative diecuts and edges of oval, sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear and tap off. Layer both decorative diecuts onto card as pictured. Use dimensional adhesive to layer oval onto center. Use from the HCD1-7262 Swirly Border Accents Die to diecut swirl border from white cardstock.
Stamp the large, medium and small blossoms from HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Cling Stamp Set in Cactus Flower ink onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating dies. Stamp the small blossoms from same stamp set in Forget-Me-Not ink onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating die. Stamp leaves 2x from the same stamp set in Fern Green ink onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating die. Stamp the lilacs from HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp Set in ColorBox Frost White ink onto vellum, sprinkle with White embossing powder and heat emboss with heat tool. Diecut the lilacs with the coordinating dies.
Use the Stack and Store daubers to color the images. You’ll need 3 large purple petals, 3 medium purple petals, 2 small purple petals, and 5 small blue ones. For large, medium and small purple blossom, use Cactus Flower ink on the edges of petals and Vivid Chartreuse in the centers. For the small blue blossoms, use Forget-Me-Not ink on the edges of petals and Vivid Chartreuse in the centers. For the leaves use a light touch of Fern Green ink. Use the same green ink over the swirly border. Sponge 4 of the lilac petals with Magenta Hue ink.
Place the blossoms and leaves into the HCFB1-469 3D Blossoms Shaping Mold, lightly mist with water and send through die cutting machine. Shape the lilac petals with the shaping stylus from Deluxe Flower Shaping kit. Assemble the blossoms together as pictured. Pierce a hole through the blossom centers and thread the purple stamens through the purple-colored blossoms. Use green stamens on the blue blossoms. Trim wire to desired length and then use hot glue to attach onto card. Cut apart swirly border and attach next to blossoms. Use hot glue to attach leaves, trimming them apart as desired. Attach lilac petals around the leaves as shown. Add tiny glitter beads to the centers of lilacs. Use the Dries Clear glue along with Crystal glitter to add a touch of sparkle over blossoms and leaves desired.
