For more tips on creating with the Cottage Garden Collection watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/faBoB2s49RI.
Instructions: Cut a piece of white cardstock to 8” x 6 1/2” size, score and fold at 4” to create card base. Use the largest die from the Booklet Basics Die to create a booklet shaped card base. Extend the top edge of die blade over the edge of folded card base when sending through die cutting machine. Die cut the largest decorative booklet using Booklet Frames Die from Cottage Garden Paper Collection (2 pieces-one on the back, one the front of your card).
Die cut less booklet frame using Booklet Basics Die in white cardstock and less frame using Booklet Frames Die in decorative paper-glue them together and score in half. Glue it on your card base- try to carefully bend it to create an imitation of the book.
FLOWERS: Stamp the largest flower from Cottage Garden Hydrangea Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock using StazOn Ink Pad and die cut using matching die. Color the flower stalk using Distress Ink Forest moss. Using a piece of creative foam cut 2 circles and glue on the center your flower- one on top of the other. Stamp the flowers from the same set on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper Pack of 50-White using Distress Ink seedless preserve and color the same ink. Die cut using matching die from Cottage Garden Hydrangea Die. Use Hydrangea 3D Shaping Mold for modeling your flowers (add some water before closing the mold). Leave to dry, add stamens from Bright Pearl Stamens-Medium and add some glue on the back of each flower. With a sponge, put glue on the flowers and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear. Add the flowers to the previously stamped flower.
Glue the big flower to your card base. On a piece of white cardstock stamp the sentiment from Fresh Cut Hydrangea Cling Stamp Set using StaZon Ink Pad and glue on your card using hot glue.
