Instructions: Click here to view a larger phoito of this oroject. Find the 12 x 12” background patterned paper. Cut a narrow strip of striped patterned paper that is 0.5 x 12” and cut out the purple border strip. Cut 2 pieces of green patterned paper, 2 x 12” and 3.5 x 12” and tear the top edges. Cut a piece of the purple patterned paper that is 2.75 x 12” and again tear the top edge. Layer all of these pieces at the bottom of the layout. Die cut the bird cage from white cardstock and cut a piece of dark purple patterned paper that is 3.5 x 10”. I cut the left edge to fit behind the bird cage die. Adhere these pieces to the middle of the layout.

Stamp and die cut 1 of each using StazOn - Timber Brown ink onto white cardstock: left facing bird, branch, flowers. Add color to the middle of the flowers using purple ink (Close To My Heart- Hydrangea) and daubers. Add color to the leaves using green ink (Fern) and daubers. Shape the flowers and leaves. Add Prills to the middle of each flower using a liquid adhesive and let dry. Add color to the branches using Zig Clean Color Markers and a waterbrush (Mustard). Add color to the bird image using Zig Clean Color Markers and a waterbrush (Bright Yellow, Oatmeal, Blue, Persian Blue, Brown, Orange, Pink).

Mat the photo in white cardstock and distress the edges. Adhere to the layout using foam tape. Find and die cut out the green tag and adhere to the right of the matted photo. Find and cut out the “Life's Beautiful Moments” sentiment and adhere on top of the green tag. Snip off a portion of the branch and adhere the larger piece to the left of the matted photo, and then add the bird on a branch to the left of that to look like it continues the branch. Add a small piece of the branch to the right of the matted photo. Add a single flower to the bird cage with a couple of remaining leaves. Add the other flowers along the branches. Add gems to the bird cage.
