Instructions: Cut an 11" x 8 1/2" white card stock at 4 1/2" using portrait orientation. Score at 5 1/2" to create a top-folding card. Cut a base layer from a dark brown card stock measuring 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the card base.
Stamp the Relaxin' Monkey image using Memento Tuxedo black Dye Ink on some Copic compatible paper. I used X-Press It. The image was colored using the following color combos: Monkey E40, E41, E43, E44, Ef9, R20, R22 and texturized 70% alcohol and terry cloth; Straw Hat - Y23, Y35, YR24 and texturized with 70$ alcohol and terry cloth; Straw umbrella, B24, B21, Y03, Y00, R20, R21; Wood chair - E50, E51, E54, E49; Sky and water- B29, B18, B16, B14, B00, B000; Sand - E83, E53, E52, E50; White Caps and wave foam - white acrylic paint.
The white caps and waves were applied with white acrylic and a small brush. Texture was applied to the monkey with 70% alcohol and a scrap of terry cloth.
Trim the focal image to 3 3/4" x 5". Sponge the edges with Memento Rich Cocoa Dye Ink and adhere the focal image to the brown layer. Many members of our community ask for clean and simple cards, so here is a clean and simple card that can easily go through standard mail.
