Instructions: Click here to view more photos of this project. Ready carriage measures 7” × 6.5” × 2.5”. First, cut 2 base pieces from white cardstock and 4 from designer paper using decorative Medallion die. Mat 1 side designer paper cutout on white cardstock cutout. Keep 2 cutouts of designer paper for later. Cut a piece of designer paper measuring 3” × 8”. Score on 1/2”and 2.5” from longer side. Fold score lines and make slits so it can easily glue in round shape. Glue both base cutout with this strip. Cut 2 decorative pieces from white cardstock using decorative medallion die and glue the on outer side of carriage as shown. Our base of carriage is ready.
Cut 12 eyelet strips from white cardstock using Ticket & Tags die. Cut 1 strip into half and glue half piece in full strip. Make 7 strips like this. Now, cut 7 strips of designer paper measuring 8” × 6/8. Glue it on white strips. Pierce the both ends of the strips and join them with carriage using brads as shown. Cut 1 strip in half and glue it to create handle. Roll a piece of designer paper using round object and glue it as shown.
For wheel, cut round pieces from white cardstock using Decorative circle frame die. To add thickness into wheel glue 8 circle pieces for 1 wheel. Cut a ring from designer paper and glue it on wheel. Further, cut a heart using Treasured Heart Gift Box die and glue that on wheel. Make 4 similar wheels and glue with carriage.
Stamp images from Baby’s Friends stamp on watercolor paper using black archival and cut with coordinating dies. Paint images using zig markers and glue them using foam dots. Stamp flower images from welcome baby stamp and cut with coordinating dies. Paint using zig markers and glue them on carriage. Tie bows using satin cord and glue them. Stamp Oakberry Blossom flowers and leaves on deluxe flower shaping paper using magenta hue ink and leaves using olive green ink. Cut with coordinating dies, paint flowers using magenta hue and Buttercup ink and leaves using leaf green and olive green ink. Shape using shaping mold. Add stamen and create 2 layer flowers. Glue flowers and leaves as shown. For finished look, glue some half-cut pearls and add glitter on flowers using adhesive that dries clear.
