A Basket for My Friend

Instructions:

Fold an 8” x 6” piece of white card at 4” to create a small card base, place the plain oval from the filigree frames die overlapping the fold slightly and die cut to create the oval card base.

Adhere to the card base, a complete oval from white card and layer on a teal oval using paper from the collection. Die cut the 2nd largest decorative die using patterned paper and the smallest decorative die using teal paper then adhere these to the card base as shown. Sponge some dries clear adhesive around the edges of the decorative dies and sprinkle lightly with glitter, set aside to dry.

Stamp the base and handle of the basket onto kraft card using rich cocoa ink, diecut and add shading with rich cocoa ink using daubers. Adhere the basket to the base of the card allowing it to create a flat edge for the card to stand.

Stamp the floral bloom using rich cocoa ink, onto stamping card, cover in clear embossing powder, remove excess and heat to set. Colour with zig markers and die cut. Add dessert sand ink to the filler florals.

Adhere the florals onto the basket using foam pads and adhere the basket handle behind the flowers and over to the front as shown.

Stamp the sentiment onto white card using rich cocoa ink, die cut and add to the card using dries clear adhesive.
