Other Products: White & lime green cardstock, foam tape, Washi or low tack tape, 1/2" round punch, Spellbinders Classic Circles Small, Nuvo Crystal Drops- Apple Green, Glossy Accents, Diamond Stickles, Copic markers: E00, 000, 0000, R00, 000, 30, RV00, E79, 74, 71, 70, YG67, & 63, G20, Y11, 17, & YR21

Instructions: Make a 5" X 7" card from white cardstock, 10" X 5", score at 5" and fold. Cut a lime green mat 4 7/8" X 6 7/8". Cut a designer print piece from paper pad 4 3/4" X 6 3/4". Use the second and third circle from spellbinders dies and tape them together to form a frame, I use Washi tape for this step. Tape the frame onto designer paper card front 1 7/8" from the left side and tape in place. Run this through your cutting machine. Stamp your sentiment on smaller circle cut out. Lay card front onto green mat, DO NOT glue in place. Using card front as a guide, match up design in paper and glue circle frame to green mat. Add foam tape to back of card front, making sure not to get too close to center hole, as this will impede movement of the spinner part of this card. Line up the design of the paper to the circle frame and adhere to green mat. Punch four 1/2" circles of white cardstock. Using double foam, cut to small 1/4" pieces and stick two circles together. Tuck one side of these under the circle cut out. Add foam tape to sentiment circle being careful not to get any closer than 1/2" from edge. Slip this piece under the edge of white circle dots and line up designer paper pattern and press in place. This is what creates the spinner motion.

On white cardstock, stamp one palm tree, five extra palm tree leaves by inking only top of trees. You will cut these away from hanging coconuts, leaving the whole tree as is. Stamp one monkey face, one tail hanging monkey set, two coconuts, & two bananas. Color bananas using Y11, 17, & shade with YR21. Color coconuts with G20 adding strokes of YG62 and Y17. Color monkeys flesh with E00, 000, & 0000, cheeks with R30, & RV00. Color tongue with R00, 000, & R30. Leave teeth white then color lips with R00, & 000. Color Monkey fur using E79, 74, 71, & 70. Color palm tree bark using E79, 74, & 71. Color fronds using YG67, & 63, hanging coconuts on tree with G20, & E70. Slightly curl monkey face head and chin, then curl ears up. Push two small white dots together and add a drop of glue to each one. Center monkey face and press down slightly. Do not over glue, you don’t want glue to leak out and stick face to circles. Use the 8mm tip to curl palm fronds and trim away the leaves from the nuts on all but the whole tree. Fold fronds in center slightly. Add a drop of glue on center of two fronds an pinch together. Glue three frond sets to left side as pictured, making sure top frond is one that is glued together. Glue the whole tree to the right as pictured, and glue two fronds to the tree making sure the top one is center glued. Add two bananas to the bottom left with foam tape or pop-dots. Add two coconuts to bottom right with foam tape or pop-dots. Attach monkeys by curling top tail into a frond, and adding foam tape to bottom monkey to stand on coconut. Apply glossy accents to monkey eyes and tongue. Add stickles to flowers printed on designer paper. Add green crystal drops to finish the card. HINT: I make all my crystal drops or liquid pearls on waxed paper, allow to dry and peel off to glue to cards to avoid any mistakes of globs.
