Watch this video to learn different shaping techniques using the dogwood flowers.

Instructions: Cut a square panel from patterned paper and remove the inner circle to form a frame. Mount onto white corrugated cardstock, then mount whole panel onto white cardstock. Trim to leave a small border. Stamp a flowering dogwood branch. Colour the branch with brown ink, and the leaves in green using a sponge dauber. Use a green copic to add a touch of colour to the petals. Shape with a stylus then adhere across the middle of the frame. Cut a sentiment tag and adhere to the top right of the branch. Stamp and die cut two dove images. Add a touch of pale blue to the tail using a copic marker. Shape and add to the opposite sides of the branch using foam dots. Stamp and die cut some flowering dogwood petals and leaves. Add ink to the petal edges and the leaves with a sponge dauber. Shape with a stylus and layer two petals together to form flowers. Shape a double stamen die cut for the centre, then add additional plastic stamens. Adhere the flowers as shown, with leaves tucked into the edges. Apply paint dots around the edge of the frame. Add fine glitter to the dove tails and flower petals. Once dry, add a coat of glass glitter to the petals. Spray the whole finished card with a gently spray of gold shimmer paint mist.
