Instructions: This triple fold card with ribbon bow, measures 6" x 7" x 3/4" when completed. Start by making the card base with the Crafter's Companion cardstock. Cut 6 x 6". Cut 6 x 6.5", make folds at 6 and 6 1/8". Cut 6" x 6 11/16", make folds at 6 and 6 1/4". Join all three card cuts together to form the triple fold card base. To decorate the card base, take the design paper with the print of the darlings and flowers all over the page, you will need one. This will be used for the matting. Find also the design paper with the darlings printed with the lace border pattern, you will need two of these pages. This will be for the card backgrounds. Cut the four matting papers to 5 3/4 x 5 3/4". Taking the die for the darlings, use them to cut all the full darling images from the matting papers making sure you have at least 1" uncut paper around the edges. ( Like a frame ) Don't panic, you will not see the holes once the card is put together. ( Saving paper )
Taking the inking tool and the Gathered Twigs ink, ink all the edges of the papers. From the paper with the darlings and lace border pattern cut four times 5 1/8 x 5 1/8". NOTE: Cut so the lace boarders will show and you have the darlings in the right places when glued in place. Ink all the edges of these papers also. Using the paper-distressing tool, ravel all the edges of the prepared papers. Adhere the layers across the inside of the card base. Note: The center section has the darling sitting on the tree stump in the center of the card. To decorate this section, take two darling images sitting on the tree stump, cut away and discard the wings on one. Adhere with 3d foam tape in layers to match the image on the paper. Shape and add fussy cut daisies to the foot of the stump. Die cut two Hello words from white cardstock. Adhere one above the lace print of this page and one to the card front. Stardust stickles is applied to this word later. The remaining papers use to decorate the card front. ( If you look very closely you will see a join in the background paper. This is so I could get the darlings in the right place. Because a flower and the title are placed over most of the join, it is not so noticeable. )
Adhere the darlings with the 3d foam tape. For the darling sitting on the tree stump, trim the stump a little so you can tuck her in behind the darling in the grass. Add a few of the flowers on the stem and fussy cut daisies for interest. For the sentiment page, find the blue background design paper. Cut this to 5 5/16 x 5 5/16". Ink and distress the edges. Stamp the sentiment Save the Date at the bottom of the paper. Adhere in place to the card base. From the off cuts find a paper with the flowers on the side. Cut this to 3 5/8 x 1.6/16", ink the edges then stamp the sentiment You're Invited to the right of the printed flowers. Adhere this sentiment with the 3d foam tape to the top right of the background paper. Using the 3D tape, adhere the two darlings in place. Shape a few fussy cut daisies and add to the foot of the tree stump. Add stickles to the flower centers and the stardust color to the darlings wings. Put aside to dry. To finish the card, take the ribbon, fold in half and wrap around the card so the bow will show on the outside side. Tie a double bow.
