Instructions: View a larger project image here. The finished size of this slider card is 17. 5 cm x 21 cm. NOTE: All the stamping is done on the aquarelle paper and with the black archival ink. To make the ‘Z’ slider card from A4 cardstock. This Z slider card fits into an envelope that measures 22 cm x 21 cm when completed. To make the card base: Taking the A4 cardstock, score at 6 cm and at 12 cm along the long edge. Fold this into valley and hill folds. This will form the card front foot (6 cm x 20.8 cm) and card front background (17.7 cm x 20.8 cm). For the slider, cut 11.5 cm x 7 cm. For the card front, cut 14 cm x 17 cm. All the matting layers will be cut at 2 mm smaller each side. For the card slider guide, cut from the card stock a band measuring 13.5 cm x 7 cm. Cut a half circle into one of the 13.5 cm edge. This will be the top edge so you can slide the slider easily into the guide when the card is finished. Adhere in place to the back of the card front. Adhere the slider to the top center of the card background. Adhere the card front to the center of the card foot. Slide the slider in to place. Make and adhere all the embellishments to the card front. When adding the slider decoration, make sure the slider still slides before securing with glue. Find from the paper pad the design paper needed and cut to fit the slider card panels. Cut first the card front, as you will be a little short to cover the total back card panel. This does not matter, as you will not see this when the card is completed. Now cut the card foot and slider from the remaining paper. Ink the edges with the faded jeans ink then distress the edges with the distressing tool. Adhere in place.

Taking the crème card stock die cut the house and roof three times each. Emboss the house with the embossing folder; first apply the gathered twigs to one side of the folder before running it through the machine. This will give you the brick print in the embossing. Apply the gathered twig ink to the roof and all sides of the house.

Stamp all the images needed for this card, make lots of them, as there are many layers. With the pencils bring color to the image out lines then with the brush then water drag the color. Colors used as follows: The fence and gate - Saddle brown 1740, dark chocolate 1930; The flowers - Blue flowers- sherbet lemon 0100, sea blue 1200; The leaves: Felt green 1530, light olive 1540; The grass - red violet 0610, sherbet lemon 0100, light olive 1540, apple green 1400, felt green 1530; The toadstool - Modder brown 1920, neutral grey 2120, Ionian green 1320, apple green 1400; The wheelbarrow: saddle brown 1740, dark chocolate 1930; The pathway: amber 1710, saddle brown 1740, dark chocolate 1930; The windows: saddle brown 1740, dark chocolate 1930; The potted flowers - Chinese ink 2030, vivid green 1330, deep violet 0760, cadmium yellow 0210, burnt orange 0260, tan 1720, sherbet lemon 0100, red oxide 1910, mid vermilion 0310; The birdbath - Chinese ink 2030, sea blue 1200. Once you have brought color and die cut the images, shape them with the flower shaping tool kit. The windows and door are adhered with the double-sided foam tape and clear drying glue. The rest of the images are adhered with glue and double sided foam tape where needed. When all is secure and dry, apply the stickles to the flower centers, windows, door, toadstool and any where else you think it needs it to give a sparkly bling feel to the card.
