Instructions: Let's start by making the gate fold card portion. Take a piece of white card stock measuring 9 5/8" x 6" and score at the 2 3/8" and 2 7/16" marks from the left side. Flip your card stock 180 degrees and repeat the scoring. To make the measuring easier, simply mark the 2 3/8" marks from both sides and place the paper on your Scor-pal where the 2 closest score lines are. You need to have this double score mark to allow the card to close over the thick insert that you will be adding. To dress up the front of the card, die cut the 2 gate fold panels with the Delicate Border Basics Die covering the remainder of the front with paper from the Botanic Orchid Paper Collection die cut with the Classic Border Basics Die to match the curves!
For the inside, lets start by layering a 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" piece of card stock from the Botanic Orchid Paper Collection followed by one of the 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Foldout Cards-White, finishing off with another piece of paper from the Botanic Orchid Paper Collection measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and attach all as shown. The finishing touch for the inside was to stamp the Courage and Strength Cling Stamp Set on Vellum using Versamark and heat embossed with White Super Fine Embossing Powder before die cutting with Spellbinders Fairmont Labels. The panels on the Foldout Card were cut from the Botanic Orchid Paper Collection and die cut with the Fleur Border Basics Die. You can chose to have the die cut border on the top edge of the card or bottom, I chose bottom.
The Classic Rose Cling Stamp Set was stamped on white card stock using Lilac Posies and die cut with the matching die before distressing with Orchid ink before shaping the flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. The leaves from the Classic Rose Cling Stamp Set were stamped on white card stock using Northern Pine ink and die cut with the matching die before distressing with Olive Grove ink and shaping with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. All the sentiments on the Fold Out card were stamped on white card stock with Onyx Black and distressed with Olive Grove ink. They were colored as shown using a Dove Blender Pen and a combination of Vintage Photo Ink and Micro Glitter using a glue pen. Finally, the Regal Borders and Pockets Die was cut twice using paper from the Botanic Orchid Paper Collection and added to the inside gate-fold panels as shown.
