Winter Holiday Scene Layout
Other Products: Ranger distress ink: Chipped Sapphire, Corrugated cardstock, mesh tape, gauze, Chameleon markers: Hot Cocoa, Olive green
Instructions: Trim a sheet of background paper to around 11" square. Heavily distress the edge, then adhere to a piece of dark blue background paper. Randomly stamp some small snowflakes across the background paper under where the photo cluster will sit. Cut two medium sized panels from patterned paper. Distress the edges, and arrange overlapping each other on the left side of the layout. Cut some random pieces of mesh tape and adhere under the panels. Tear a piece of corrugated board a little larger than the photo. Arrange over the top of the panels, with the photo adhered over the top with foam dots. Cut some narrow strips of patterned paper from scraps and cut notches into the ends. Adhere tucked under the top and bottom of the panels and photo, then adhere the paper layers and corrugated board in place. Tuck some additional mesh tape under the right side, and bottom edge of the photo panel. Cut a sentiment tag from patterned paper and adhere to the right side of the photo. Stamp a set of spruce trees and colour with a Chameleon marker starting from the top down to create an ombre effect. Shape with a stylus, and adhere in a cluster on the left side of the photo. Use foam dots on the foreground trees for added dimension. Adhere some gauze across the base of the trees to resemble snow and around the top right of the photo panel. Use a fine metal tip to add drops of the glue to the background image, using all the spots on the top section and tapering away towards the base. Sprinkle with glitter.
