Instructions: This card measures approximately 4 1/2" x 6" when closed and 5 1/2" x 9" open. Start making this card by taking a piece of white card stock 5 1/2" x 8 3/4". Measure down 1" and draw a line from the 1" spot to the 8" spot. Repeat the same measuring down to the 4 3/4" mark. You will use a craft knife and cut these lines that you just drew from Left to Right. Now score between the 2 cut lines at the 1", 1 1/2", 7 1/2" and 8" marks and above the top cut line at the 2 3/4" and 6 1/4" marks. Repeat these last 2 score lines but below the bottom cut line finish by scoring the card the full height at the 4 1/2" mark. When you are finished your card base should look like this. To finish the card, wrap with a piece of Pink card stock that measures 6" x 9" scored at the 4 1/2" mark.
The Botanic Orchid flowers were stamped on white cardstock with Tuxedo Black and cut with the matching die. They were distressed using a combination of Dove Blender Pen and Lilac Posies Ink and Peeled Paint Distressed Markers before shaping the flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. The stamens were colored with Squeezed Lemonade and after they were attached to the flowers they were accented with Pollen Micro Beads.
The Regal Hummingbird Cling Stamp Set was stamped on White cardstock with Tuxedo Black and cut with the matching die. They were colored using a Dove Blender Pen and a combination of Teal Zeal Ink, Lilac Posies Ink and Peeled Paint Distressed Markers and attached with 3D foam dots.
The Botanic Orchid Wishes Stamp Set was stamped on White cardstock with Tuxedo Black and cut with the Elegant Ovals Die. After scoring it in the middle and attaching it to the center of the card, layer on your Orchids and Regal Hummingbirds as shown.
Finish the card with a ribbon sentiment from the same Botanic Orchid Paper Collection along the top of the card and enjoy!
