Instructions: Cut white cardstock 11" X 3 1/2", score at 5 1/2" and fold to make the card base. Cut a 6" X 6" square of white cardstock. Line up the pictured border die, minus the bottom piece, right on the edge and die cut, repeat on opposite side. Now cut two extra of this piece, leaving a 1/2" flange at the bottom from white cardstock. Glue these to the white panel for stability. Glue panel to the card base. Cut a 3 1/4" X 5 1/2" piece of pink cardstock. Using the bottom of the die only die cut scallops on each long side of this piece. Glue to the card front. Cut a magenta strip from the paper pad and cut in half. Using a neutral pink piece from the paper pad, cut a 2 1/4" X 5 1/2" piece. Using the border die that looks like a picked fence, die cut each long side. Glue the magenta strips under this piece just above the square cut out holes. Cut a 30" piece of ribbon and weave through holes on each side then tying a bow at the top. Glue this piece to center of pink paper on card front.
Stamp the orchid Bouquet and Hummingbirds on white cardstock using black ink. Die a vase and two corners using silver cardstock. Cut a 1 3/4" X 2 1/2" piece & tape it to just the top of the border die to create the corners. Glue the corners in place as pictured. Color the orchids with Y13 & 000 for centers and blend V06, 05 & 01 on the petals. Color the leaves using YG67, 63, & 61. Cut about 3/8" off the stem and then tuck into slit in vase top & glue in place. Tie a small bow and glue to vase top. Add double thickness pop-dots to center of orchids on the back & glue to edge of vase and attach to front of card as pictured.
Color hummingbird breasts using V12, feet and bills with C5, belly's with BG10, and body & wings blending BG13, 15, & 18. Curl wings up with fingers and attach to card front with pop-dots.
Stamp the sentiment onto another piece of the neutral pink from paper pad, with black ink trim 2 1/4" and then round corners with punch. Sponge edges with raspberry ink. Glue this to a piece of aqua from the paper pad and fussy cut around it leaving 1/8" borders. Curl slightly with fingers and glue in place. Add yellow stickles to orchid centers, magenta to petal centers and mermaid to hummingbird wings to complete your card.
