Instructions: Create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base from Old Olive cardstock. Die cut one of the owl images from the paper collection with the second largest oval from the Large Classic Oval dies. Die cut an oval from Old Olive cardstock with the largest oval from the same die set to create a mat. Trim a panel of purple patterned paper to 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the card front along the left side. Trim another panel that is 3 1/4" x 4". Adhere the sentiment strip that says “You’re a hoot” along the bottom of the panel and wrap one end several times with silver twine. Adhere the panel horizontally near the bottom of the front of the card as shown in the sample. Die cut the “Large Fleur Pocket Die” from the Fleur Borders and Pockets Die from Metallic Silver cardstock and trim down one end so it fits onto the card front as shown in the sample. Adhere the oval die cut to the center-left of the card front. Embellish the upper right corner with three silver half-back pearls.
For the pop-put on the inside of the card, trim a panel of green patterned paper that is 4" x 10 1/2" and fold in half. With the panel folded, cut two 1/2" notches 1/4" apart into the score line, about at the center of the fold. Push the notches in the opposite direction of the fold to create the pop-out tab. Adhere the panel with the tab to the inside of the card. Locate the card front panel from the paper collection with two owls sitting on a branch. Trim and adhere to the inside of the card. Stamp the sentiment “Hang in there!” with black ink onto the owl panel. Stamp the tree from the Sugar Hollow Hangout Cling Stamp Set in Old Olive ink. Color the image using sponge daubers and Lime Pastel and Peanut Brittle Ink. Adhere the branch to the pop-out tab.
