Instructions: Create a folio, approximately 4 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 3/4", by first cutting apple paper from the Farmers Market Paper Collection to 11" x 9 1/2". Place the paper face down on the work surface. Cut two pieces of chipboard to 4 1/2" x 8 1/2" and one piece of chipboard to 3/4" x 8 1/2". Attach the chipboard pieces onto the wrong side of the apple paper as shown in THIS step-by-step photo tutorial. Make sure to leave spacing of approximately 1/16" between the chipboard pieces in order to fold the covers closed. Trim the four corners of the paper at an angle to the chipboard corners. Fold the edges of the paper over the chipboard, attaching with strong adhesive. Trim chicken wire paper from the Classic Sunflower Paper Collection to 10" x 8 1/2" and attach to the inside of the folio, covering the chipboard. Fold the covers closed and crease lightly.
Create a pocket on the inside left cover of the folio by cutting black cardstock to 5" by 6". Score at 1/2" from the left edge and 1/2" from the bottom edge. Cut away the 1/2" square at the bottom left corner and fold the paper on both score lines. Make sure the tabs are folded to the back side of the cardstock. (See the step-by-step photo tutorial HERE for details.) With the paper tabs folded, measure 2" from the top left corner and make a mark on the cardstock. Measure 3" up from the bottom right corner and make a mark. Draw a diagonal line between the two marks. Cut on that diagonal line to create the pocket shape. Place strong adhesive on the folded tabs and attach to the left folio cover, making sure to line up the left and bottom edges. Trim vegetable print paper from the Farmers Market Collection to approximately 4 3/8" x 5 3/8". Measure the decorative paper 1 7/8" from the top left corner and make a mark on the paper. Measure 2 7/8" up from the bottom right corner and make a mark. Draw a diagonal line between the two marks. Cut on that diagonal line to create the pocket shape. Attach the decorative paper to the pocket.
Create a waterfall photo section by trimming black cardstock to 4" x 7 3/4" and attaching it to the center of the inside right folio cover. Trim text paper from the Classic Sunflower Paper Collection to 3 7/8" x 7 5/8" and attach to the black cardstock panel. Create the waterfall panels by cutting eight pieces of black cardstock to 4" x 4 1/2". Score 1/2" from the top edge of each panel. Use a corner rounder to round the bottom two corners of each panel. Trim 16 decorative paper panels from the Farmers Market and Classic Sunflower Paper Collections to 3 7/8" x 3 7/8". Round the bottom corners of each piece of printed paper. Attach the decorative pieces to both sides of each of the eight waterfall panels. Crease the panels on the score line, folding the 1/2" tab to the back of the panel. Using strong adhesive, attach the first panel to the top edge of the text panel on the right side of the folio. Continue to attach the panels, lining up the folded edge of each panel to the bottom edge of the tab of each previous panel. Decorate the panels with tags cut from the paper collections. Decorate the top of the first waterfall panel by using the Jars and Vines Die to trim a jar image from the Farmers Market paper. Attach the jar to the panel with foam adhesive. Stamp the vine and berries image from the Jars and Accents Cling Stamp Set onto kraft cardstock with black ink. Color the image with distress inks. Use the Farmers Market Fruit Die to cut out the image. Glue the vine to the jar.
Create a "belly band" to hold the folio closed by trimming black cardstock to 10" x 2". Trim plaid printed paper from the Classic Sunflower Paper Collection to 9 7/8" x 1 7/8" and attach to the cardstock strip. Wrap the band around folio, securing the band in the back. Use sharp scissors to trim the jar and apple basket image from the Farmers Market paper and attach to the front of the band with foam adhesive. Use the Luggage and Tags Die to cut a ticket from Farmers Market paper. Add the ticket sentiment to the band. Slide the band over the bottom of the folio as shown.
