Instructions: Make a 6" X 6" card base using 12" X 12" ivory cardstock, cut in half, scored at 6" and folded. Cut a 5 7/8" piece of neutral green paper from paper pad & glue to card front. Cut a 5 3/4" square of neutral red from paper pad and distress all four sides. Stamp Sparkling Poinsettia Notes background on ivory cardstock and carefully tear on all sides, close to image edges. Sponge vintage photo ink on edges, and toward center about an inch on back side. Spritz the front of the image with water and crumple up with your hands and and straighten back out, not quite completely flat. While still damp, use the curling nib of the shaping kit to curl edges as pictured and set this aside to dry. When this is dry lightly sponge the wrinkles on the piece to accent them. Now brush on the crackle paint and once again, set aside to dry. Cut off a small piece of waxed paper and dab dots of liquid pearl to make fourteen small pearls for centers. You could use pre-made flat back pearls as well. Using the Arianna die, cut two doilies from a sheet of the burnished red & white print of the paper pad. Using the Poinsettia petal, stamp twice on red cardstock with burgundy ink, dust with embossing powder and heat set. Cut with matching die. Using the holly leaves stamp twice on olive drab cardstock with walnut stain ink, dust with embossing powder and heat set. Cut with matching die. Coat these holly leaves with stamp paint. Using the alabaster ink, sponge a small area on each holly and poinsettia petal as pictured. Shape the holly petals using the 8mm nib. Shape the poinsettia leaves using the 8mm & 6mm nibs from the flower shaping kit. Now with the luggage and tags die, cut two tickets, one oval tag, and one large tag from the paper pad. Note: I cut two small hole protectors from this die of Kraft cardstock to glue on my large tag, but this step is totally optional. Cut a 6" piece of twine and gold cord, thread through the large tag hole, and knot end and trim off ends if needed. Add a piece of washi tape across the tag top. Using the smallest circle die from Spellbinders cut out the "Noel" letters with the letter sheet from the Once Upon A time paper pad, and sponge walnut stain ink on edges. Assemble the poinsettia flowers as pictured. I used the Copic marker to add black dots to the pearls, but once again this step can be optional. Glue the "Note" piece diagonally across card front by only adding glue down the center, so as to be able to tuck the other elements under it. Make a bow from burlap ribbon, add a twine bow in the center and glue three bells to cover the knot. Add glue to bottom of large tag and tuck it behind the "Notes". Glue doilies under center piece, then add the small tickets and tag using pop-dots. Glue poinsettias and holly to the center as pictured. Glue bow to upper left corner, then attach the "Noel" letters with pop-dots to your card front. I added one of the 6" X 6" pre-printed sentiments that come in the paper pad to the inside of this card as a perfect compliment to the card front.
