Hero Easel Card Box
Other Products: White Card Stock, Tim Holtz Hitch Fastener, Versamark Stamp Pad, Antique Linen and Tumbled Glass Distressed Ink, Copper Penny Embossing Powder, Super Fine Black Embossing Powder, Derwent Watercolor Pencils (Turquoise Blue, Raw Umber and Cedar Green), Bling, Ribbon and Cord from my stash and die cutting machine.
Instructions: This project was based on a basic Matchbox with an overall size of 4" x 6" (there are many tutorials for making a basic matchbox on line if needed). The drawer is made from a piece of cardstock 6" x 8", scored 1" on all 4 sides. The wrapper is a piece of cardstock 11" x 6" scored at the 1", 2", 6" and 7" marks. I then added an easel 4" x 12" scored at the 6" and 9" marks. Finally I added a 4" x 6" pocket on the front filled with a 3 3/4" x 5 3/4" tag. Once you have all of your pieces cut and assembled, distress all the edges and then layer with paper from the Everyday Heroes Paper Collection. Finish with an image from the Alarm and Watch Cling Stamp Set and fill the little drawer with some tasty treats! The image from the Alarm and Watch Cling Stamp Set was colored using Derwent Watercolor Pencils and distressed with Antique Linen Distressed Ink. The "My World" Cling Stamp Set was stamped on the tag using Versamark and heat embossed with Copper Penny Embossing Powder. It was then distressed with Antique Linen and Tumbled Glass Distressed Inks. Finally, the globe was stamped 6 times with Versamark and heat embossed with Super Fine Black Embossing Powder.
