Watch this video https://youtu.be/faTpandFJLI to learn how to shape the Classic Sunflower.
Instructions: Stamp 2-3 of the classic sunflower stamps on plain cardstock. Cut them out with the coordinating die. Using a sponge dauber apply a light color of yellow ink to the entire petal, then apply a darker shade of ink to the centers brushing outward along the petal to create shading. You can even tip the edges of each petals with a third darker color for enhanced shading. Pinch each of the petals with the tweezers from the flower tools and then run the ball tool around the center of each petal to cup them upwards. Layer the petals together two to a flower and create 15 flowers in varying sizes. Stamp 4-5 leaf flourishes from the Beautiful You stamp set and then cut with coordinating die from the Decorative Flower Pot. Color with green ink shading as you go, leaving the centers lighter in color. Pinch the leaves the same as you did with flowers with the tweezers and set to the side. Cut out the frame from designer paper and then layer over the top of the base designer paper with polka dots. Cut a small rectangle of green designer paper and layer up on the left hand side of the photo mat. Cut out designer paper with button patterned and scallop the edges and layer over the green paper but still under the left edge of the photo mat. Glue all the pieces of paper down as shown with zip dries glue and then add your photo and the flowers and leaves. Hold back a few of the smaller flowers to add to the chipboard. Cover the chipboard pieces with the stamp paint and let dry (it will dry quick). Next randomly add Dries Clear Glue to the top of the chipboard and then cover with the gala glitz. You do not want it solid, you want glimpses of the paint underneath to show through. Once everything is dry apply to your layout and nestle flowers over the top of the chipboard as shown with the Dries Clear Glue. Lastly fussy cut out the butterfly from the paper and pinch together to make it look like it is ready to take flight and add to the top left of your photo to finish off.
