Instructions: Cut a piece of red cardstock at 6 3/4 x 6 3/4". Cut a piece of white cardstock of 6 1/2 x 6 1/2". Choose paper from the paper collection with a fence on it, cut to 6 1/2 x 6 1/2", color the round post topper using a yellow marker. The red cardstock will be the base, the white cardstock will have the battery on it, then the decorative panel will be placed on top of that.
Start with the white cardstock, using a pencil, draw where you want the lights, battery and push button to be located. Then make a complete track with the copper tape (one copper tape needs to lead to the positive side of the battery, and the other copper tape needs to lead to the negative side of the battery. Place the lights where indicated, making sure it touches both the positive and the negative tape. On the negative tape, you'll also need to add your push button. Use the soldering tool for that. Lay the decorative panel on top of the white cardstock, feel where the press button is, then make a hole in the decorative paper where the button needs to come through. Double check to make sure the lights are where you want them to be. Now you can adhere press button, lights and battery as indicated on white cardstock using tape. See photo here. After making sure all the lights are working, adhere decorative panel on white cardstock, applying glue only on the edges. Then adhere this onto red cardstock base.
