Instructions: Card Base is 6" x 6". TIP: Use an antistatic pad to wipe your vellum and cardstock first before stamping, it creates a static free environment so that only your stamped image is embossed. When using a heat gun, don't get too close to your cardstock or it will get a brown tinge. Using the Butterfly Kisses stamp set, stamp the butterfly on white cardstock using your White Versacolor Ink, then cover completely in white embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat with your heat gun. Repeat with one on vellum. I have colored these images using Broken China. Color the cardstock butterfly on the front and the vellum butterfly on the back. Cut with coordinating die. Cut a strip of acetate approximately 1cm wide and adhere to the back of the vellum butterfly up to the head, leaving the flourishes free. Do not bend the top of the acetate like you will with the flower.
Using your Buttons and Blooms stamp, stamp the medium size flower in teal zeal, morocco, lilac posies and buttercup, lightly shade with the matching color and die cut with coordinating die. Shape with your deluxe flower shaping kit.
Using your leafy accents stamp, stamp your double and triple leaves using your peeled paint ink and color with same ink. Die cut with coordinating dies and shape in the 3D shaping mold. For more tips on creating with the flower shaping molds, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/FSdPL7nXvQE.
Cut 4 strips of acetate approx. 1cm wide, you can cut the length when assembling the card. Bend the top of your acetate over about 1cm to make a stand. Adhere 2 leaves, you may need to cut into singles and 1 flower to the front of each acetate strip and allow to dry. On the yellow flower adhere 1 white button.
Using your Patchwork Pockets stamp, stamp the pocket once each with bamboo leaves, lilac posies and buttercup, shade your pockets as pictured. Die cut with coordinating die.
Using your Hand stitched Accents stamp, stamp your "Birthday for you" stamp in Teal Zeal, die cut with coordinating die. Trim this into 2 pieces, the for you section and the birthday section. Color the leaves with bamboo leaves.
Using your Hand Stitched Accents Stamp, stamp your "Happy Birthday" stamp in Teal Zeal on white cardstock, die cut with the coordinating banner die. Die cut one extra white banner. Cut an acetate strip approx. 1cm wide, adhere you stamped banner to the front so that the banner is sitting across your acetate strip and the point is hanging out the left, trim off the point. Adhere the white banner to the back to make it stronger and conceal your glue and trim of the tip to match.
Cut 1 acetate strip 1cm and fold the top at the 1cm mark as you did with the flowers. This will be the ramp for your banner.
Using your Buttons and Blooms Paper Pad cut the background mat 6" x 6". Cut your white card base 12" x 6" and using a bone folder for a cleaner line fold in half.
Adhere your front patterned mat. Adhere your vellum butterfly to the top left so as the top of the butterfly is coming out the top. Using your acetate ramp adhere to the right side of the card so it sits approx. 2 cm below the card top. Adhere 3 flowers to the back of your yellow pocket play around with the placement so it will sit on your card nicely, you may need to trim the bottom of your acetate strips so they are not hanging out. Adhere your birthday flourish to the back of the pocket so it sits as pictured. Line up your yellow pocket up on your card front for measurement purposes only do not glue in place and work out where your banner will sit best and adhere it over your ramp so it is floating in the air. Using 3d dots adhere your first pink pocket remembering that this is below the yellow level and the flowers will need room. Using 3d adhesive now adhere your yellow pocket over the top of the pink pocket. Adhere your center flower to the back of the green pocket so that it fills your bunch and using 3d dots adhere your last pocket. Trim the top flourish of your cardstock butterfly and adhere with glue only in the center of your butterfly so you can bend up his wings. Using glue only on the right side adhere your mat and bend it up like a tag. Decorate with stickles as desired.
