Instructions: Card Base is 4.25 x 5.50" cut from black cardstock. Find and cut out the card pattern with the wood grain, die cut out the middle circle using the Eyelet Circle & Basics Small Die. Also cut off the patterned border right down to the wood grain. Find and cut out the "Warmest Holiday Wishes" sentiment and set aside for now.
Cut a piece of white cardstock that is just slightly smaller than the patterned front. Using Distress Oxide Inks and a blending tool I started added color. Start with the yellow (Fossilized Amber) in the middle. Then using orange (Spiced Marmalade), blend from the sides into the middle. Do the same with the final color, red (Fired Brick). Using Jet Black Archival Ink I stamped the Bethlehem image onto the blended background. Let dry. Then add yellow Stickles to the star.
Adhere the patterned frame over the blended and stamped cardstock, and position the way you would like the image to appear. Trim off any cardstock that might peek out the sides of the patterned layer. Mat this in yellow and red cardstock and adhere to the black cardstock base. Add the sentiment to the bottom of the circle, and black gems to the corners of the card.
