Instructions: Click here to view a larger photo of this project. Make 34 large peony flowers using assorted colors. Each flower is made using the three largest peony petals. Stamp peonies using Berry burst ink on pink paper from the Sweet Peony. Marina Mist ink on blue designer paper from Under the Sea. Color the edges using daubers and the same ink colors. Also stamp peonies using Early Espresso ink on Orange paper from Under the Sea and color the edges using the daubers along with Peekabo Peach ink.
To shape, spray the back of the flower with a mist of water, use the deluxe flower shaping kit to add definition to the edges and nip the petals gently to create a more pointed flower. Once the flowers are dry, edge with ink and glue the petals together to make the flower.
Paint the foam ring with brown acrylic paint and allow to dry. Tie the ribbon around the ring, then position the flowers onto the ring using dress makers pins. Push one pin through the middle of each flower, you'll want to use a thimble to do this.
Using the green paper from the sweet peony paper pad, make as many large leaves as desired. Stamp in Pear Pizzazz ink, diecut, shape and edge in Tranquil Tide ink. Position the leaves amongst the flowers with hot glue/pins.
Make smaller flowers from the dark pink paper in the sweet peony paper pad to fill any big spaces on the wreath. Add these in the same way as the larger flowers. Adhere a pearl to the centre of each flower to cover the pin head.
