Instructions: Make a card base 8" x 8" from white card stock. Cut a pattern paper from the paper pad, 1/4 " smaller than the card base. Distress the edges with a paper distresser. Adhere to the card front using designer glue.
Cut two more strips, a shade lighter than the mat layer and tear diagonally into two as shown on the card. Adhere the two strips with foam dots on the mat layer towards the base. Cut two die cuts from the Sweetheart Border dies on white cardstock and tuck inside the edges of the diagonal strips.
Using the modeling paste and spatula, add texture to the card base, creating butterfly design on the top and bottom. Let it dry.
Stamp the flowers from Classic Rose cling stamp set in black ink, also stamp some small ones for filler flowers using Leaf Green ink. Stamp the leaves in Library Green ink. Cut with coordinating die. Colour the flowers and use the flower shaping molds and the tool kit to shape flowers. See the video on making the rose. Shape the leaves in the flower shaping tool kit. Insert stamens in the small filler flowers. Die cut three oval pieces from the eyelet oval set. Die cut a bird cage from white cardstock.
Distress the edges of the eyelet oval frame using Plum ink, add Dries Clear glue, followed by Krystallos shard glass. Allow to dry. Stamp a sentiment on the center oval, color lightly with Majestic Violet ink and layer all three together using foam dots. Adhere on the centre of the card base and add the bird cage die cut above. Stamp a butterfly image using a plum ink and violet ink. Cut with coordinating die and add colour with same colors. Apply clear glue with a brush and sprinkle Rainbow glitter powder.
Finish the card by arranging the flowers, leaves and roses and adhering with dries clear glue.
