Instructions: Begin to prep the 8 1/4" x 9" album by using gesso on front and back of the album, I also did the inside cover on both to protect the inside from all the spray. Once dry, apply texture paste using your favorite stencil. I used the morocco one from prima. Once dry, decide on your cover, how you will lay out your embellishments, I started with the oval frame in center, then I built around it, securing it all with gel medium. I attached my album closure under the fabscraps latch on the front of the cover, and I used gel medium here too. I let this dry overnight as I wanted to be sure it was completely dry before I went onto the mists.
Begin with your mist starting with your darkest color of the blues, which is siesta key; add in grass and peacock feathers, feel free to dilute with water. I used sand castle underneath all my embellishments to create shadows. Heat set in between layers of color to make it permanent. When you are happy with the look; add your title. I then went over with alchemy wax to highlight and used cowboy glaze to add extra depth in some spots.
For inside of album; I used the Daily Blessing Journal Page set and adhered two sheets together to create a sturdy page. Adhering photos both 4x6 and some 5x7 and leaving room for Emma Lou to journal on. I added 4x8 tags stamping sentiments on them as well as A 2 craft envelopes with stamped sentiments throughout the album. I cut out large sentiments from pages I didn't use in the pack and a couple of these I used the fuse to create smaller flip pockets. I used the We r tab punch to add tab dividers to each page.
