Instructions: Stamp the blazing poppy flower on the foam paper with Rhubarb Stalk ink. Use the MISTI to repeat the stamping in the same place so that the stamp marks are dark and clear. Cut using the coordinating poppy die.
Using the sponge dauber, apply inks to the poppy petals using a mix of carnation red, red geranium and saffron. Apply inks on both sides of the petals. Use the red colours to ink the smallest petals.
One large flower has three layers - one large flower petal and two medium flower petals.
Heat the iron to medium setting and gently place the petals on the hot surface. The foam petals immediately curl and become soft. Fold the petals and roll tightly between your fingers. Shape the petals a little on the flower shaping tool kit. Layer the petals as shown and glue them with hot glue gun.
Prepare the stamen centre by tying together one or two green stamens and the black stamens. Make a hole in the centre of the flowers using a the piercer from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and insert the stamens. Secure at the base with a tiny dot of hot glue.
Make small filler flowers with the small classic rose stamp. Use Olive Grove ink and stamp on both white cardstock and art foam paper. Die cut and shape with the tool kit. The filler flowers stamped on art foam paper are inked lightly with New Sprout ink and layered with two small petals in a bud shape. The filler flowers stamped on white cardstock have a stamen inserted in each flower.
Lay the necklace down on a flat surface. Adhere the flowers as shown with hot glue. Wait for a few minutes to dry firmly.
Flaunt your necklace with beautiful foam poppies.
