Instructions: To view a larger image of this project, click here. Cut a card base from
white card stock 8" x 8". Cut another piece 8" x 8 1/2".
Score at 1/2" mark and fold. Apply adhesive and adhere the first piece to
make 8" x 8" card base. This is a top fold card. Cut a pattern paper
from Young At Heart collection a litte smaller than the card base and adhere to
the card front. Tear a wavy scrap piece from paper pad and adhere at the base
to appear as sand.
Fold and score the shadow box A2
size and adhere to the right side of the card base. Cover the outside with
border strips, and the inside with a A2 panel from the patterned paper.
Die cut the Window Box elements
lattice die, and the border die twice on white cardstock and adhere to the
window. I layered the borders along the bottom of the window.
Stamp the coconut tree, and the
truck image in black ink on white cardstock and die cut with coordinating dies.
Colour the coconut tree with Archival inks, Library Green and Leaf Green and
the car with Zig markers.
Stamp the daisy flower with Tea
Rose and Forget Me Not ink on white cardstock and shade them with daubers using
the same colour inks. Die cut with coordinating die and shape the flowers on
the flower making tool kit. I also added yellow stamens to the centers of the
flowers.
Stamp the leaves from the Sunflower
Accents stamp collection in Library Green ink on white cardstock and die cut.
Colour using Leaf Green ink and shape with the flower shaping kit. Gather all
the flowers and leaves.
First adhere the coconut trees on
the extreme left corner with dries clear glue, then adhere the car with 3D foam
tape. Arrange the flowers and leaves on the car and the window.
Stamp a sentiment on a piece of white card stock
with black ink. Ink the edges with Leaf Green ink and Forget Me Not ink before
adding the sentiment on the card with foam tape. I also fussy cut a Happy
Birthday sentiment from the paper pad and adhered it on
the top left.
