To make the card base first visit HERE to see a tutorial on how to put this card.
Instructions: This slider card when completed measures 7" x 8 1/8 " (17. 6 cm x 20. 9 cm). Taking the A4 300gm card-stock and make the card base by first making 2 folds, being 2 1/4” (6 cm) along the long side to form the foot of the card. Fold this to a hill and valley fold. Cut the card front base at 5 9/16” x 6 3/4” (14. 2 cm x 17. 1 cm) The card slider at 2 5/8” x 4 1/2” (6. 7 cm x 11. 5 cm).
Find the designer paper with the stripes on it for the card background and the card front. Find the cream designer paper for the top layer card front. Cut this a little smaller and ink the edges with Spiced Marmalade distress ink. Adhere all together not forgetting to leave the top card front design paper open as seen in the tutorial. For the slider guide, cover this with the striped paper.
For the decoration of the card: Taking the white card stock (14.5 oz) stamp colour and die cut all the embellishments using Coffee Archival ink and die cut. (Make lots of sunflowers and leaves). Color using Distress Inks: Walnut Stain, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss, Wild Honey, Barn Door, Black Soot, Fired Brick, Vintage Photo, Gathered Twigs, Faded Jeans, Older Paper, Ground Espresso, Rusty Hinge, Spiced Marmalade. Shape pieces using Deluxe Flower Shaping kit.
The marshmallows on sticks are trimmed away from the bears. The grass and stone border and flower borders are found in the Woodsy Wonderland stamp and die sets. These are trimmed to fit.
Adhere in place as seen in the photo of the card. Adhere a few leaves and a bear at the top of the slider and top of the card front so they slide into each other to form a cluster.
Find from the designer paper the sentiment, trim and adhere to the card front each side of the cluster. To finish the card apply stickles to the flower centres and ironwork on the house.
