Instructions: For a close up of this layout click here. The dark green 12 x 12" plaid patterned paper is your background. The cream patterned paper is cut down to 10.5 x 10.5" and the edges are inked using Chocolate ink and distressed. Cut a strip of the striped patterned paper and mat it with the cork ribbon.

I used a small dinner plate to trace my blue patterned circle. I inked and distressed the edges of this also. Adhere these layers together. Cut a piece of light green patterned paper that is 1.5 x 6", tear the bottom, ink and distress the edges. Adhere to the top left hand corner. Cut a circle from yellow patterned paper using circle punch, cut in half and ink using Walnut Stain. Add this to the top banner.

Die cut the window box lattice from dark brown cardstock. Snip one side off and attach to the top banner.

I added green to the chipboard frame using Distress Stain, then added golden bits using the Tarnished Brass Distress Paint. Let dry. Adhere to the layout using 3D foam squares.

Stamp and die cut 2 sets of the maple leaves, oak leaves and birch leaves on white cardstock using chocolate ink. Stamp and die cut one of the guitar bears, and the coffee mug. I added colour to all of these images using my Chameleon Pens using no more than a 3 second blend. Shape all of the leaves and set aside.

Stamp and die cut 2 sets of the large and small Water Lily on white cardstock using chocolate ink. I added colour to these images using Stack and Store Daubers and Distress Oxide Inks. Shape and assemble the flowers. I added beads to the middles of the flowers using 3D Crystal Lacquer. Let dry.

Cut the largest photo mat from yellow patterned paper using the largest Large Circle die. Die cut the photo and the white cardstock mat using the Small Circle dies. Ink and distress the edges of the paper layers and adhere to the middle of the chipboard frame using 3D foam squares.

Find and cut out the “a Beautiful Day” sentiment. Adhere to the left hand side of the matted photo.

Add a large and medium flower to the bottom right hand side of the frame. Add a medium flower to the top left hand side of the frame. Then add in pieces of the leaves. Add in the mini flowers at the ends of the leave clusters. I then added buttons and pearls in and around the leaf clusters. Add a medium flower to the top left banner. Also add a pearl. Add the bear and coffee mug in the bottom right hand corner of the layout using 3D foam squares.
