I really enjoyed this class it took away the mystery on how to use these inserts. I had bought them a few months ago but was intimidated on how to use them. Absolutely loved blending colors, and learning how to shape roses to look so realistic. I struggled making my first three rose buds with the class, but afterwards, my last two look awesome.
The most valuable tip I learned was, it's OKAY to experiment with different color combinations on roses. I couldn't imagine using Peanut Brittle with Lilac Posies on a rose, or Lilac Posies w/Bamboo and Peanut Brittle on leaves - but somehow this combination was stunning.
First time at creating roses, and loved it!

I really enjoyed this class as it gave a more in-depth look at creating with the flower mold to make the blazing poppies. It also gave a great look at adding stamens to the flowers. I am also inspired to take the class on jewellery-making as it is something I have been interested in since I first saw Emma Lou's necklaces. Breaking down the album page by page and offering suggestions for different decorations on each page really helps to develop a unique and varied album. This is especially important as sometimes it is hard to decorate in a "flat" manner as opposed to 3D with flowers etc.

I feel like I'm "part of the family" when I watch your live videos. You show that things "can" and "do" go wrong, but the way you handled the lost feed situation was just wonderful.
Emma Lou, as usual, was herself but better. She showed all of us how to handle grace under pressure. She persevered (with a little help from her friends) when her cutting device went down, never faltering in her instruction. She proved that when you are nice to others they will be nice to you. Emma Lou does an excellent job explaining what she is doing.
The list that you send before the classes that gives the pages in the paper and sizes to cut the paper is great. One thing I would like to see you do is add the pages and location these pieces go in the album that we are working on.
I like to follow along with you as you do the album but not sure where the pieces go.
I think it would make it so much easier when you go back to watch the video.

This photo frame is soooo beautiful. There is so much detail in it but Andrea made "simple". She broke it down into sections that made it so easy to follow along. Not only did she show us how to make the photo frame box with the hinges, she also showed us how to make the different flowers for the project. I always love learning new flower making techniques! I can't wait to go home and make my own floral photo frame.

I love all of Emma Lou's classes! She is an excellent teacher and you feel like she is right beside you. She moves at a good pace, and explains carefully. And you can always go back and watch again. This class was all it was marketed to be and more. There were so many techniques, tips, and tricks taught, that even for an experienced crafter we learned new things. Andrea does an excellent job of teaching, so that you always have choices to do your own thing. I have taken lots of classes, and never been disappointed, however this class is a must for all crafter's, especially "Heartfelt" lovers. The Dragonflies, and the different ways of coloring them, and different materials used is a lesson alone, not to mention the pop up, and easy way to make a easel card. I am very happy that I can re-play it as much as I want, because I am sure I will learn more each time. I encourage anyone who has not taken it to do so. Thanks again Andrea.
