Great class. Always like learning new techniques and ways to improve my crafting skills. Ways to strengthen border trims was helpful. Using 4 layers of paper to strengthen the album cover was informative, however, I think I prefer using chipboard as it is stronger and I learned a way to make the entire album cover using chipboard and paper from Katie at Katie's World. It would be helpful if you e-mail the PDF for the class sooner so students would have time to prepare for the class.

I am so glad you offered this class to help clarify what to do with some of these dies. This class was definitely worth the time and money if you love sunflowers and want to learn how to make projects other than a scrapbook page or card. I decided to buy the extra stamp sets with the rustic can and basket because they helped the scenes become more alive and authentic.

Emma Lou, you've done it again...a class absolutely chock full of techniques, how-to's, and inspiration. How many cards did you ultimately demo? 15? 16? Then that sweet gift box and #10 sized card. I bought the Black Friday special and when I received them, I was a bit overwhelmed by all the pieces that came in each set. This is my second review because I just finished watching the video a second time.
I loved all the flowers but my favorite one is the technique of flower # 6. The tip about the basic concept of the versatility and random, curling in different direction. Another tip that is nice to know is making my own swatch colors system for the flowers.
You mentioned that you will talk about how to use the round daubers. I would like to have details about the round daubers.

This was a terrific class! Emma Lou is such a great teacher. The techniques are explained very clearly making the whole experience of crafting this special album very enjoyable. While the project looks complex, it's not intimidating at all following the step by step instructions. The section on coloring was a special bonus that I really enjoyed as well. As with the other classes, Emma Lou makes the techniques look so easy. I have had my border dies for some time now and haven't used them much as I usually cut them wrong. Growing up in Hawaii we see many variety of flowers. Never have I come across imitation flowers that looks so realistic until I surfed the web and came across Heartfelt Creations. Emma Lou gives perfect step-by-step instructions on making the album and then shows us how to create beautifully colored and embossed Vellum flowers. I loved the glitter step Emma Lou showed us at the end. One tip that I can add is when you are using your heat gun, don't accidentally aim it at the catch tray holding your loose glitter. Don't ask me how I know! Wonderful class, lots of new techniques to use in all your crafting.

This class was really amazing. All the boxes are so beautiful and Emma made it look so easy. I have been making roses for a very long time - since the stamp/die came out as my very first purchase.
