I took the class to learn how to make the different flowers. I tried to follow along, but found I had to pause often because I was also trying to make the flowers as Emma Lou finished them. I LOVE the opportunity to see it live and then pause to try myself.
I like the way Emma Lou restates the comments from participants, because in the replay mode, no chat is visible. Actually, I was so engrossed in watching and making flowers, I didn't have time to even look at the chat!

I could not have conceived this album in a million years. Beautifully designed and thought out, it is a gem. I would never have been able to do a project like this without your wonderful designer and Andrea to walk us all through the process. Every detail was covered clearly and I feel I will be able to make a fabulous album on my own. I love this type of a project because it is a challenge. The prep work took ages and I felt overwhelmed however the finished album will make it all worthwhile. When Andrea began I felt rushed however all quickly became clear and I had no difficulty following the instructions. This is the type of class project I like and I have signed up for the next class! Well worth the money and time. I will be making several of these albums for gifts.

This was my first live class. I don’t know why I waited so long. I will be doing more classes. I loved everything about the class from Emma lous outstanding personality to learning new inking techniques to all the flower shaping techniques. I have not used the stamens yet I think I was afraid I would run out I have a tendency to hoard my supplies and think they have to be stocked to the hilt. I can’t wait to have time in my craft room to create each of the flowers from today and get my stamens out and use them. Thank you Heartfelt and Emma Lou. Fantastic class - I learned so many things from obvious things I never realized like adding magnets to making thick covers with no cardstock showing and complicated things like folds and flaps. My one suggestion would be for the guide to include the steps. I had to write them in by hand. Thanks for all the tips - I can see myself making this album base with a variety of stamps and dies to fit all kinds of events and seasons.

What is most ronderful is learning the many different ways these dies and stamps can be used. It opens up a plethora of ideas and methods. Figuring out where to start making an album was daunting to me. I love the looks of them, but never could make myself begin.
