I never imagined I could make paper flowers as beautifully as I do...it's all thanks to HC! I am already planning my next craft convention so I can take more HC classes to learn new things and better my technique." -Jan T

Other Products: Kraft card, White stamping card, VersaMark, walnut stain embossing powder - Tim Holtz, Old Olive ink pad, Early Espresso ink pad & Melon Mambo ink pad - Stampin Up!, Natures Twine - Stampin Up!, foam pads,

For more tips on creating with the Tulip Time collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/rfYMxeNBmJk.

Instructions: Score a 5.75" x 11.5" piece of Kraft card at 5.75" to create the card base and vertically score the front of the card in the centre to create the easel card.

Cut a square of paper from the pad, slightly smaller than the base of the card, and distress the edges using scissors. Use Melon Mambo ink to colour the edges and glue into position on the base of the card. Die cut the elegant pocket in Kraft card and colour tint with early espresso ink. Die cut a solid elegant pocket shape and adhere the first die cut to this. Mount onto the card base using foam pads - this will act as the stopper for your easel - leaving approximately 1.5" clear at the front of the card base.

Select a 6" x 4" paper from the pad and edge with melon mambo ink. Adhere this to a slightly larger paper to create a border, distress the edges and ink using early espresso ink. Adhere this to a 7.75" x 5" piece of Kraft card and distress and ink the edges again using early espresso.

Cut a small piece of paper from the pad approximately I" x 3.75" and adhere to the right side of the easel card. Glue the Kraft card and paper layers to the left side of the easel.

Stamp the fence twice in VersaMark, cover in walnut stain embossing powder, remove excess and heat to set. Join the 2 pieces together, removing one of the centre posts, and adhere to the card using dries clear glue - allow the fence to overlap slightly.

Cut a large label from the pad, distress and add some old olive ink to the edges. Adhere to Kraft card, trim around leaving a thin Kraft border and distress the edges. Use early espresso ink to darken the edges slightly. Poke a hole in the label at the top and add some twine. Tuck behind the fence and add to the card using foam pads.

Die cut the sentiment. Add twine through the hole and glue to the tag.

Stamp the Tulips on to white stamping card inking with melon mambo for the flowers and inking the stems and leaves with the old olive ink. Using a water brush spread the colour onto the flowers and leaves. Die cut and sponge the colour onto the die cuts to add shading. Shape using the flower shaping tools and add the strips of flowers along the fence using dries clear glue.

Stamp the filler flowers onto paper from the pad using early espresso ink and die cut. Shape the filler flowers and remaining single tulips and add to the card top and base using hot glue.

Other Products: White Cardstock, Watercolor Paper, Dimensional Tape, Pretty Florals Embossing Folder, Hot Glue

For more tips on creating with the Tulip Time collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/rfYMxeNBmJk.

Instructions: My card is 5 x 7". Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection. I inked the edges with Vibrant Fuchsia Ink. Set the base aside.

Cut out the Eyelet Lace die using white cardstock and glue to the card base. Next, using white cardstock again, cut out the large oval die and then run it through the Vagabond with the embossing folder. I always spritz my cardstock with a little bit of water. This allows for a deep embossing. Use Vibrant Fuchsia to ink the edges of this oval and then use dimensional tape to adhere to the card front.

Now stamp the sentiment onto a piece of the paper collection and, using the small die in the Eyelet Lace Frames Die set, cut out the sentiment. Edge with Vibrant Fuchsia ink and use dimensional tape to adhere to the card front. Set the card aside and we will begin on the floral spray.

Stamp the flower petals and leaves onto watercolor paper and using the daubers and ink, color the images. Using the coordinating dies cut out these petals and leaves. Run the flower petals through the Vagabond inside the Tulip 3D Shaping Mold. I spritzed my petals with water in order to get a good shape on the flowers. When they come out of the mold, shape a bit with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. I glued the petals a bit so they would hold their shape and allowed them to dry. Next, I poked a hole in the bottom of the flower and fed through the stamens and used a hot glue gun to glue into place. Glitter the flowers and set aside to dry. Now arrange the flowers and leaves to make a floral spray and glue down on the front of the card.

Instructions: Take the 12 x 12" Bordeaux Cardstock for the background, now take the white cardstock and cut it at 11 1/2 x 11 1/2" and take your scissor and distress the edges, take a paper from the paper collection and cut this at 11 x 11". Glue them all on top of each other.

Take a stencil and your Modeling paste and put some on the  right upper corner and the left bottom corner and let it dry. Then take the Glimmermist and spray it over the place where you put the modeling paste and let it dry very good. Take a sheet of paper from the collection with the 6 x 6" squares on it and cut a frame from one of them. Tape this over your photo and place it on your sheet, take another piece of a photo and place this with foam tape on a green paper (mat), cut it out and place it on the top right corner.

Tulips: Stamp with the Tulip stamp and vermillion ink some tulips on white cardstock. Color them with Monarch Orange on the bottom and Sunflower on the top so that it blends in very well. Color them on the back too. Cut the flowers with the coordinating die. Now stamp the tulip leaves with Fern Green and color them with Leaf Green. Cut them with the coordinating die, now place all the flower cutouts in the 3D mold, spray them lightly with water, put the lid on and run it through the machine. Glue 2 flowers offset on top of each other, make a hole in the center and pull 3 stamens through it, take your flower tape and run it over the wire of the stamens. Cut the little round end of off the leaves, Glue the leaves on the stamens, roll the base and glue this on the stamen under the flowers.

Stamp with fern Green some tiny backyard flowers on white cardstock and color the leaves with Leaf Green and the flowers with vermillion, put some dots on the flowers with the dandelion yellow Nuvo drops, let this dry. Stamp with the Leafy Accents set and Coffee Ink on white cardstock and color them with the leaf Green and some shadows with Fern Green and Monarch Orange. Cut them out with the coordinating die and place in the 3D mold, spray them lightly with water and run it through the machine.

Stamp the small flowers from the Floral Fashionista using Manganese Ink on white cardstock, color them with French Ultramarine and cut them out with the coordinating die, place them in the 3D mold and shape them then place a yellow dot of the Nuvo drops in them and let them dry. Stamp with fern Green some Tulip Vase Fillers and color them with Leaf Green. Cut them out with the coordinating dies. On the tiny Hyacinths you can glue some Prills and let this dry. Stamp the small and large peony with Coffee and color them with Buttercup and Sunflower Ink, cut them out with the coordinating die and shape the petals on the Deluxe Shaping mat. Now glue the flower together, make a hole in the center and pull the stamens through.

Now Glue 3 tulips on the left bottom corner of the photo and place some Backyard flowers on it too, then you can put the photo on foam tape and place this over the bottom part of the tulips, now dab some glue next to the photo and cover it with Prills.

For the right side of the photo, place 4 tulips and some backyard blossoms, then glue some of the Spanish moss on it. Place the bow on top of that. Than place the leafy Accents and on top of that the Peony then the little Hyacinths. Under that and on top of them add some of those tiny Blue Flowers and some Green fillers, take the Black fine liner and make some doodles all around the layout on the White cardstock.

Instructions: Cut the white cardstock down to 11 x 11" and adhere to a full sheet of 12 x 12" black cardstock. Using a large circle template or a dinner plate, trace a large circle onto the white cardstock. This will be your guide. Using blending tools and Distress Oxide Ink (Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber), add chunks of color around the traced circle. Then using the stems of coordinating misters, splatter some additional color (Mustard, Pink). Let dry.

Stamp and die cut 16 of the Tulip Bouquet image using black ink (Archival Ink- Jet Black). Start adhering the tulips around the traced circle. I used a mini glue dot at the base of each stem and 3D foam squares under each bloom. This adds just a little bit of dimension around the entire wreath. Keep adding blooms all around the circle. I technically used 15, but it's always good to have an extra just in case.

Die cut one of the Butterfly Kisses mini wreaths from black cardstock. Find and cut out the "Everyday Moments" sentiment and flag one end. Mat the photo in white cardstock and add black photo corners to the photo. Adhere to the layout using 3D foam squares. Add the wreath and sentiment to the right-hand side of the matted photo. Add a few sequins for a little extra sparkle.

Instructions: Card size: 6 x 6". Cut blue decorative paper to 5 3/4 x 5 3/4" and glue to folded white card. Cut a piece of white card stock 5 1/2 x 5 3/4". The width is 5 3/4" so keep that in mind when you die cut top and bottom with the Petite Pocket Accents Die outer frame then cut 2 Petite Pocket Accents die cuts (decorative part) and glue them to the top and bottom matching edges (I left the bottom parts open so that I could slip the circles in under them). Stamp Think Of You using Forget-Me-Not and then die cut with a circle die and mat with blue decorative paper with a large circle die then glue them together. Slip the circles under the Petite Pocket Accents die cuts and glue in place (lifting sides and inserting glue).

Stamp butterfly with white pigment ink and emboss with white embossing powder then die cut. Stamp leaves with Fern Green, sponge with Leaf Green and add some Buttercup here and there then die cut and shape in Leafy Accents Shaping Mold. Stamp Sunflowers using Buttercup, sponge with Buttercup and then die cut. Use the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and the Groove tools to shape flowers. The inside 2 or 3 are curled up and in, the bigger bottom 2 are curled down and flatter. Arrange Sunflowers on the left side of sentiment and add leaves.

Pop up butterfly in the center so that wings are free, on the right side of sentiment. Add a dot of Nuvo to the butterfly head. Add glitter to the flowers.
