Reviews from Crafters that have taken online classes:
I recommend, even if you are experienced, to take a few classes They really are worth it and chatting with Emma Lou and others is FUN. Plus I am sure you'll still get a few new tips or ah ha's. It was a relaxing time spent with (virtual) friends. ~Joyce Erb
I love all of your classes. I have taken several and I have learned so much. I have never been into crafting until I took your classes. I made the mini flip fold album for my mothers 90th surprise birthday party and everyone loved it. I could not have done it without your class. I can't wait to start making the flowers that you just taught me. ~Barbara Wehrle

Instructions: The finished card measures 6 inches by 6 inches. Cut a 12 x 6” white cardstock and fold at 6 inches to make the card base. Cut 1 piece of green paper (#6B) 5 3/4 x 5 3/4” and glue it on the base. Cut a piece of white cardstock 5 1/4 x 5 1/4” and #3B brown pattern paper a piece of 5 x 5 inches. Glue it on the white cardstock and paste it on the card base to give dimension to the card.
Cut out one sentiment from the Ornate Ovals Die in the #4A paper. Glue it on the card at the right.
Made 4 differents kind of flowers: 1 red from wild rose, 2 white with the edge ink in red with the Oakberry lane blossom, 4 red from Floral fashionista, and 3 pines cones with the wisteria petals collection. For the red I used archival ink vermillon and for the pine cones, the archival sepia ink.
Here’s the step to make the flowers: Stamp using vermillion ink onto flower shaping paper, colour the petals with the same color and diecut with the coordinate die. Place facedown into the flower shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the diecutting machine to shape. When dry, give further shape with Deluxe flower shaping kit tools. Poke a hole in the centre of the flowers and add stamens, secure with hot glue. For the wild rose and the pine cone, put a little bit of glue on the flowers and dip them in the glitter to make them shine.
Stamp the Snowy Pines Cabin Cling Stamp with the archival ink leaf green. Color it with a dauber with the same color and cut it to make different pines branches.
Put cheesecloth to the left of the sentiment tag. Add a little piece of wood, and glue your flowers and 1 pine cone over it. Glue branches under the flowers. Add 2 pines cones and 1 flower to the right of the sentiment with branches under it. For the final touch, add some red berry.

Score the longer side at 6″, crease, and fold the card neatly. Choose the paper from the designer paper collection and create the first mat, a little smaller to the card base. Distress all the sides using sharp scissors.
Cut 2 die cuts from white cardstock using Decorative Cage Die and 1 die cut from yellow color paper from the designer paper collection using the same die. Stack them together keeping the yellow one on top to get some extra strength. Dab the cage with glue and sprinkle frosting powder and heat set. Shape the cage and glue it on the card front as shown.

Instructions: Stamp out Snowy Pines Cabin with Memento Tuxedo and colour with alcohol markers, stamp over with versafine and clear heat emboss. Die-cut the outer wreath and around the trees and cabin. Use low tack tape to secure the internal wreath die and place on the cutting place overhanging the area not to cut and run through the die-cut machine. Die-cut 2no. Diamonds & Lace and trim off 3no edges, 2no. Regal Pocket Accents and 4no. corners from Album Tags & Accents in white. Cut from the paper pad a decorative panel 5 3/8 x 4 1/8” and die-cut the aperture using Cut Mat Create 1A 2.75 x 3.75” rectangle die.
Create the shadow box to suit 5 3/8 x 4 1/8” paper pad decorative panel. Cut white cardstock 11 3/8 x 10 1/8” and score at 1/2, 1 1/2, 2, 3”, then rotate the cardstock and repeat the score line measurements to all sides. On one side, create an additional score line at 3 1/2” x 1 1/2” long (two score lines), flip your cardstock over and repeat. This has created two new score lines on one side. Repeat these score lines on the opposite side only. Cut along the 3 1/2” score line (two score lines) then out and diagonal to the next score line and straight to the final score line (to meet the rectangle centre) and repeat this cut to all four mitred sides. Make four additional cuts along the adjoining score lines to cut away each outer corner of 11 3/8 x 10 1/8. Create a finger hole to allow access to light switch, die-cut Album Tags and Accents 0.75 x 1.25” tag on the short side (landscape) of the score line nearest the rectangle centre leaving enough space for the battery pack. Prior to assembling the shadow box adhere the battery pack. Adhere the tag die-cut to the visible portion of the battery pack. Adhere the plain sides of the box first and bring the mitred edges over the top.
Cover the back of the box in red paper and a centre band in green/green gingham. Attach Diamonds and Lace to either side of the sentiment and adhere. Adhere Diamonds and Lace to the front top and Regal pocket Accents die-cuts to either end of the box prior to the aperture panel. Adhere corners around the aperture and Snowy Pines Cabin over. Finish with snowy fluffy stuff and dries clear and glitter.

Instructions: The finished dimensions of my card are 4 1/4 x 5 1/2”. Make card base by starting with a piece of cardstock measuring 4 1/4 x 11”. Score at 4 1/4” and fold. Cover the card with a card front from the paper collection. Set aside.
Using the Eyelet Oval and Basics Large Die cut a piece of the paper and glue to the center of the card front. Using the Ornate Ovals Dies cut the oval out of white cardstock and glue down to the front.
Stamp the Pinecone image using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and using various Memento Inks to color. I used the Dove Blender kit for this. Next cut out the image with the coordinating die and add glitter to the ribbon and berries. Allow to dry. Next, I added the snowflake paste and then set it aside to dry. Be sure that the pieces of the pine cone remain able to move. Once the image is dry, I used Double Dots to adhere to the card front giving it a bit of dimension.
