Lavender Rose Bouquet Get Well Wishes

Lavender Rose Bouquet Get Well Wishes

Other Products: White, lavender and white Copic Xpress papers, hand dyed seam binding, Adirondack Eggplant & Wild Plum alcohol ink, purple twine, 4 larger rhinestones, Wink of Stella clear, lavender pearl string, Copic markers V17, 15, 12, YG97, 95, 93, & 11, pop-dots

Watch this video https://youtu.be/Z8P070kC3oo to learn how to create dimensional roses with the Classic Rose Collection.

Instructions: Make a long card base by cutting white cardstock to 8 1/2" X 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" and fold. Make a lavender mat 4 1/8" X 8 1/8". Cut a 4" X 8" piece of designer paper that looks like a collage. Die cut three of the scalloped border the length of the die from white cardstock. Trim to 1" wide. Glue two of these together to form a double thickness for the bottom. This will allow the finished card to stand upright without bending the trim. Cut two strips of white cardstock 9" X 1 1/2". Die cut these by cutting once, then line up the back by overlapping the little diamond shaped cuts, tape in place and cut again. Glue the top and bottom strips to the lavender mat, lining up lavender to the middle of the diamond cut. Leave a about an inch unglued from each corner as you will need to trim these later. Glue the long strips to the mat in the same manner. Trim each corner at an angle from the corner in, and trim off any excess to match as well as you can. You will add the rhinestones later to cover any defects in the seams. Glue this piece to the card front. Glue the collage card front to the lavender mat, making sure to center it as well as possible. Glue an 8" strip of pearls to the left as pictured. Now you can add the rhinestones on each corner.

Using Xpress paper and black ink, stamp the small rose stem six times, the large rose stem four times and the leaf spray twice. Color all leaves and stems using YG 97, & 95 to make veins, then coat all with YG 11 and go over this with YG 93. I found this to be a perfect combination for rose leaves. Color three small, and two large rose buds. You will be snipping off the stems of the remaining ones to add at the bottom of your bouquet. Use V17, 15, & 12 to color buds. Shape the buds and leaves following the video listed above. Go over the rose buds with Wink of Stella. Arrange the buds as pictured, adding pop-dots under the buds and a small drop of glue to the stems below the buds. Snip the leaf cluster in half and glue them in to fill gaps. Snip off the remaining stems from in-colored buds and bend upward slightly. Glue these as pictured to resemble a bouquet.

To make the bow I dyed 3 yards of white seam binding in this manner. In a small plastic lunch bag add 1 tablespoon isopropyl alcohol, add seam binding. Close bag and squeeze to thoroughly to saturate ribbon. Open bag and drop in a few drops of eggplant, then wild plum. Take the ribbon out and let dry on paper towels. When dry, make a large loose 3" bow and glue to the base of the rose buds as pictured. Cut the appropriate tags with the matching dies and tie together with a small piece of twine. Glue this to the bow knot to finish your card.

Watch this video https://youtu.be/Z8P070kC3oo to learn how to create dimensional roses with the Classic Rose Collection.

Instructions: My card is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2". Make card base out of white cardstock. Then make a mat piece using purple cardstock and glue it down to the card front. Next I selected a card front from the paper collection and glued it to the purple mat. I found a sweet sentiment on the paper and cut it to fit the banner then glued it down. Stamp and cut out the swirl and color using the distress inks and a brush. Stamp, cut out and color the flower petals. Color the edges with dusty concord distress ink and then add a layer of the glaze. This sets the color so it does not run when you wet it to shape. Shape the flowers and rosebuds, add the prills to the centers of the single layer flowers. Next you decide where you want your elements to sit and glue them down. Using these beautiful card fronts is a great way to achieve beautiful cards with minimal effort!

Instructions: The Blushing Rose Stem Cling Stamp Set was stamped twice and the sentiment was stamped once on X-Press It Blending Card Stock. The image was colored using Copic Alcohol Ink Markers. I used BV00, BV11, BV17, G21, G24, YG61 and YG63. The sentiment background was marbleized using G21 and BV00 with 70% alcohol. I usually apply this with a brush or I put alcohol in a designated water brush and touch the tip to the various colors to create a marbleized look. I applied some dots with a purple liner pen.

The rose Stems were cut using the Blushing Rose Stem Die. The base of the tag was die cut with the Eyelet Oval Die. I used petite nesting oval die for the remaining layers as shown in the picture. The designer paper was selected from the Blushing Rose paper Collection. The edges where lightly sponged with Memento LuLu Lavender Ink. Designer Adhesive - Clear was applied to the edges of the sentiment layer. Prills (I Cannot Tell A Lilac) were applied.

The layers were adhered using dimensional dots. The foam dots in between each layer give the tag some great dimension and interest. The Blushing Rose Stem images were applied to the top and bottom of the tag. The card was embellished with dark grey pearls.

Instructions: This Z slider card measures 22.5 cm x 19 cm when completed. Please note: All the stamping is done with the gold embossing powder. To make A Z slider card base: Taking the A4 cardstock and score at 6 cm and at 12 cm along the long edge. Fold into valley and hill folds. This will form the card front foot (6 cm x 20.8 cm) and card front background (17.7 cm x 20.8 cm). For the slider, cut 11.5 cm x 7 cm. For the card front cut 14 cm x 17 cm. All the matting layers will be cut at 2 mm smaller each side. Cut a matting layer from the yellow card stock and the design paper found in the paper pad to fit the card base. All the matting is cut 2 mm smaller each side. Adhere all the matting layers together, except the top edge of the card front and the matting layer. This is so you can slide the slider between the card stock layers. If you forget to do this, don't panic. Then you make a band measuring 16.5 cm x 2 cm and adhere to the top back side of the card front. Use this for the slider guide; adhere to the back of the card front. Fixed. Adhere the slider to the top center of the card background front. (Make sure you do not place the glue and double-sided tape too low. If you do this, the card front will not sit flat when closed. If this happens, make a slider guide for the back and place it lower in the back.) Adhere the card front to the center of the card foot. Slide the slider in to place.

Find the design paper with the dress on the cloths hanger, cut to size and distress the edges with the paper-distressing tool. Apply the small half pearls to the purple dot circle around the dress form. Cut four times the border in the yellow card stock. Cut twice the bow from the All glammed up collection to make a double bow. Stamp, color, die cut and shape the roses and leaves using the classic rose and blushing rose stamp and die sets. With the yellow cardstock cut four lace borders. Adhere the borders to the back of the yellow cardstock matting front. NOTE: Remember to leave the top front between the matting open for the slider! Adhere all the layers to the white base front. Now you can arrange and adhere the sentiments, leaves and roses to the front. Place and adhere the bow and rose bud to the top border front. To finish the card add stickles to the made roses and the rose in the dress and hanger image.

Lavender And Teal Rose Cascade

Lavender And Teal Rose Cascade

Other Products: Stickles in "Diamond Dust"- black, white cardstock, foam tape, Tim Holtz Tonic paper Distresser, BLICK alcholol markers: Lilac, Horizon Blue, Green Tomato

Instructions: Card base measures 4.5" x 6". Cut black card stock 5" x 5.5" and designer paper 3.75" x 5. 25".

From a smaller piece of designer paper, tear two corner triangles and adhere over the top panel of the card. Curl the corners and distress all the edges with the Tim Holtz distresser tool.

From the Raindrop on Roses Die cut a black delicate lattice work from black and one from a white. Now, glue them one over the other but off set the bottom to cause a shadow effect. I chose to use the black on top. Adhere this to the center of the card base and set aside.

From the Blushing rose, stamp, color and die cute 2 sets of the lavish rose clusters. I used Blick alcohol markers to color them in using Lilac and Horizon Blue for the flowers and Green Tomato for the leaves. Using the foam tape, I adhered one over the other to give it some dimension. Once again with foam tape, adhere this rose cluster to the top of the lattice work on the card base.

From the paper collection I fussy cut 2 of the butterflies and hand stamped the JUST THINKING OF YOU sentiment using the above Heartfelt Expressions cling stamp set. I cut it around the wording and cut the "about" "you" separately. Then they too were adhered to the card with foam tape and off centered to the bottom right hand side of the card. Randomly add the butterflies to your card, stickle and your done.
