Hey friend how are you today? Have you been crafting this week?

Our Crafters Say:

"What can I say..I love everything about Heartfelt Creations!! When I give a Heartfelt Creation card to someone, they just uh and ah over them. You make me look like I'm a professional! I love the videos too!" - Beverly V

"I have encountered what seems to me a magical world of creativity and I'm simply in love I hope to learn from all of you thanks for the opportunity." - Maria Alvarez

Let's get crafting together!

Step 1: Start with a piece of white cardstock 10 x 10" then score at 5" in both directions so that you have 4 equal quarters

TOP TIP: You can also make this 8 x 8 or any size you like as long as you have 4 equal quarters.

Step 2: Then cut one side on the score line up to the center of the card. Next score both top halves at a diagonal from center score line to 5" score line in the center.

Step 3: Using a piece of double sided paper (the plaid from Purr-fect Posies was used here), cut two 4 3/4" plaid squares and one 4 3/4" square from the other side of the plaid paper (the lavender paper). Cut one of the plaid squares and the lavender square in half diagonally. Glue the two plaid halves to the outside top sections and the two lavender pieces to the inside top sections. Glue the other plaid piece to the bottom right quarter.

Step 4: At this point you can fold the bottom right quarter over the bottom left and secure with a decorative paper clip (or other such piece) or you can glue it together.

TOP TIP: If you are going to mail it, do not glue it together.

Step 5: The next step is to make an easel card for the bottom (choose a shape and size that fits without interfering with the card closing, we used circles for this). Cut the Easel card by placing the die on the fold, overlapping the top as shown here.

Step 6: Then fold the top half in half to form the easel. Cut another white circle the same size and attach to the bottom portion of the front of card base.

Step 7: Cut two smaller circles from lavender and glue one to the card front and the other on the inside base.

Step 7A: Adhere the easel card to the fun fold card.

Step 8: Stamp, using Deep Purple ink all three sentiments. Cut the inside sentiment with an oval and then cut a lavender decorative paper one size larger for a mat. Cut a piece of foam sheet (or pop dots) the size of the oval and glue to oval sentiment. Cut the other 2 sentiments with circle dies and die cut lavender mats for them (Glue these to the two top plaid triangles).

Step 9: Stamp and sponge the blossoms on Deluxe Flower Shaping paper with Deep Purple ink, then die cut with coordinating dies and shape in the shaping mold.

Step 10: Glue two blossoms together for each flower then insert light green stamen (the smallest flowers have Prills in the centers). Stamp the leaves with Leaf Green ink, sponge, die cut and shape.

Step 11: Stamp the kitty using black ink, color then die cut and add foam to the back to pop up.

Step 12: Proceed to decorate the front of the easel with the kitten and flowers then decorative the side top triangles with flowers around the circle sentiments and finish by glittering all the flowers and randomly glittering the panels using a damp sponge and Dries clear glue.

To fold, your card will look like the pictures below. Have fun creating beautiful cards your friends and family will love!

This card is adorable! It will be "purr-fect" as a thank you card for my daughter's Mother's Day gift to me. She is mother to two ragdoll cats :) I don't quite understand the fold part, but I'm sure when I actually get the paper out and work with the directions, it will be clear. This is a unique easle card. Thank you, Robin
