Let's get started making a basket together!
Directions:
Step 1: Using the Gift Box Base Die from the Gift of Love Die set diecut six sides for the basket from white card.
Step 2: Using the decorative Floral Panel die, diecut each side of the basket. Line up your die centrally in the square section of the diecut and run through your diecutting machine. Do this for all six diecut pieces.
Step 3: On each of the six die cut pieces of card cut along the score line indicated in the picture above and remove the top two sections.
Step 4: Use scissors to cut along the score line of the side tab of the now top section of the diecut piece and remove this piece for all six sides of the basket.
Step 5: Fold along all remaing score lines as in the picture above of all six diecut pieces. The side tab folds inwards away from you, the top section folds out towards you for the edges of the basket; and the bottom section folds away from you as this will form the base of the basket.
Step 6: To start making the basket apply Dries Clear Adhesive along the side tab of the die cut.
Step 7: Adhere another diecut piece to the first section of the basket and keep repeating until all six sides are adhered together.
Step 8: To make the basket shape adhere the six sides together and adhere the bottom folded sections so that they form the base of the basket.
Step 9: Use the Decorative Solid Panel die from the Gift of Love Box Die and die cut six times from the foral patterened paper from the Sweet Peony Paper Pad.
Step 10: Cut 6 x 2.5" x 2.5" pieces of clear card and a solid colored paper from the Sweet Peony Paper Pad.
Step 11: Using Dries Clear Adhesive adhere the clear card first and then the colored paper to each section of the basket over the diecut area.
Step 12: Using 3D Foam Circles adhere the six diecut pieces of floral papers to the side "flaps" of the basket.
Step 13: To make the handle cut a strip of white card 12" x 2" from white card and two strips of coordinating paper from the paper pad 12" x 3/4".
Step 14: Die cut the sides of the white card with the Border Essentials Die. To contine the die cut along the length of the card line up the die with a small area already cut.
Step 15: Adhere the two 12" x 3/4" strips to the handle one on the top and one on the back.
Step 16: Adhere the handle to the basket and all that is left to do is decotate it and fill it with gifts or of course chocolates!
