Let's get crafting!

Directions:

Step 1: Make the box base with white cardstock.

Cut two pieces of white cardstock to size 9” x 12” and score both the pieces at 3” and 6” on the short side and at 3” and 9” on the longer side.

♥ Cut two slits on the four corner squares along the inner score line.

♥ Fold in the flaps along the shorter side and adhere with hot glue.

♥ Cut two pieces of cardstock measuring 6 1/2" x 3” and score at 1/2" , 3 1/4" and 6” along the long side.

♥ Fold along the 1/2" score line outwards as valley fold and fold the 3 1/4" score line as mountain fold. Adhere the two sides together and place inside the box.

♥ Adhere well with hot glue to create two partitions. Repeat for the other box. So now there are two rectangle box bases with two sections in each box.

Step 2: Adhere the two boxes together.

Step 3: Make the outer cover for the box.

Cut one piece of white cardstock measuring 7” x 12”. Score this piece at 6 1/2" and 9 5/8” on the long side.

♥ Cut another piece of white cardstock 7” x 7”.

♥ Cut mat layers from Luxe Gold Cardstock 6 3/4” x 6” and 6 3/4" x 2 7/8” and add to the first piece .

♥ Cut two pieces of luxe gold cardstock 6 3/4" x 6 3/4" and adhere one piece on the 7” square piece. Keep another one aside.

Step 4: Cut the die cuts from French Gate Die and French Courtyard Die to decorate the box.

Cut three pieces from the pearl blue cardstock using the outermost outline die from the French Gate die.

♥ Cut one die cut each in white card stock, Luxe gold card stock and Pearl blue cardstock from one side of the French Gate die.

♥ Cut the same die cuts from the other side of the French Gate die.

♥ Cut the same pieces from any one of the sides of the French Gate die for the front of the box.

♥ Cut two pieces of white die cut from the French Courtyard die set without the inner circle sentiment.

♥ Repeat to get one piece in pearl blue color and one piece in gold card stock.

♥ Cut two pieces of die cuts in gold paper from the outline circle die.

♥ Cut two pieces of white die cuts from the happy birthday sentiment die.

♥ Adhere all the pieces together –Gold , white , blue die cuts for the side with blue one on the top. Repeat for the other side.

♥ Adhere on the plain mat layer.

♥ Make similar pieces for the box top.

Step 5: Adhere the assembled die cut pieces on the sides of the box base and on the front. For variation, cut the plain and the mat layer in two parts. Trim the die cuts.

Step 6: Adhere the whole box on the outer flap. Fold the flap and add the 7” square piece on top as the lid.

♥ Add the second mat layer of square gold card stock inside the inner flap of the cover.

Then add the French Courtyard die cuts.

Step 7: Make flowers and leaves to decorate the box.

Stamp the Small Wild Rose flower image with Forget Me Not Archival ink using the single flower set on Deluxe Flower shaping paper.

Stamp the small flowers with Leaf Green Archival ink.

Stamp the leaves with Leafy Accents stamp set on flower shaping paper using Library Green Archival ink.

♥ Cut the images with the coordinating dies.

Step 8: Colour the flowers with Forget Me Not and Leaf Green Archival ink and the leaves with Library Green and Leaf Green and a touch of Plum ink and shape them in the respective flower shaping molds.

Step 9: Adhere the two flowers together and mix the prills and add to the centre of the flowers with clear glue.

Step 10: Add the flowers and leaves on the top to finish the box. Add a pearl tassel and satin bow to finish the box.
