Let's get crafting!

Directions:

Step 1: Create the vellum angels.

Stamp the angel images 3x from the Starry Noel Angel stamp set on Vellum paper using white pigment ink.

Add opague white embossing powder and heat set with the heat tool.

Use the Starry Noel Angel die to cut the images.

Step 2: Create the Bird and Noel Sentiment.

Stamp the bird and Noel Sentiment images with pigment white ink.

Add Opague white embossing powder and heat set with the heat tool.

Cut the images with coordinating die.

Step 3: Color the stamped and embossed images.

Use Distress Oxide Inks Broken China and Vintage Photo with daubers to colour the images.

Step 4: Stamp two more images.

Stamp the images on white cardstock using Archival Cobalt and Leaf Green inks.

Cut using coordinating dies.

Step 5: Make the backdrop for the card.

Use Teardrop Lattice Gateway die to make the backdrop.

♥ Cut the first layer using Luxe Silver Cardstock from the Outer Plain Die.

Cut one piece of white die cut from the inner decorative die. Do not use the inner window for this.

♥ Cut one piece of die cut from the yellow background pattern paper.

♥ Adhere all these layers together.

Step 6: Make the pop up mechanism for the card and cut the mat layers.

Cut a piece of white cardstock to size 2” by 10”.

♥ Score at 1/2", 2 1/2" , 7 1/2”  and 9 1/2" on the 10” side.

♥ Cut another piece of white die cut 5” by 2”.

♥ Cut the mat layers from Luxe Silver cardstock: Cut one piece 1 3/4" x 4 3/4" for the front. Cut two small squares 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" for the sides.

♥ Cut a piece of pattern paper 1 1/2" x 4 1/2" from the paper collection.

♥ Cut a sentiment label from the paper collection and add a white layer at the back.

♥ Cut two strips  1/2" x 6” from white card stock, score at 1” from both sides for the two strips.

Step 7: Adhere all the pieces together with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.

Fold the bigger card piece along the fold lines. Add the second card piece at the back on the 1/2” folded tabs.

♥ Add the silver mat layer on the front and then add the pattern paper. Adhere the two silver sqaures on the sides.

♥ Fold the tabs for the two strips and adhere  them inside the open box on the side walls as shown. There should be a gap of one inch between the two strips.

♥ Adhere the whole piece at base of the Teardrop Lattice card front .

Step 8: Adhere all the embossed and coloured images inside of the card box on the two strips in layers and the front so that every image is seen.

♥ Use a vellum die cut from Eyelet and basic small circle die. Add the Noel Die cut on this and add on the card front.
♥ The stars are cut from the Angel's dress.

♥ Designer Tip: Cut white die cuts using the coordinating die for all the images and adhere them at the back of the vellum images. This will add strength to the vellum images to help them stay upright.

Step 9: Fold the card flat to check the mechanism.

Beautiful card! Just one question. I only see 4 of the 5 angels on this card. Am I missing it or was it not used?

Thank you for your patience. We did some research on this and have found that only 4 of the angels were used in the project. One of our teammates says the 5th angel is out on another assignment!
