Let's get crafting!

Directions:

Step 1: Make the base for the double gate fold card.

Cut white cardstock to size 7 1/2"  x  12” and score at 2” , 4” 8” and 10” on the longer side

♥ Fold along the scored lines as mountain and valley fold.

♥ Combine the two  decorative dies from the Filigree Accents die set and adhere on the left side of the panel and cut through the die cutting machine to get a decorative design on the left panel.

♥ Repeat the same thing on the right side.

Step 2: Cut mat layers from the pattern paper collection and adhere to the inside and front of the card.

Cut 4 pieces of light pink background paper to size 1 3/4" x 7  1/4" and adhere two pieces on the front of the card on the two side panels and two  pieces on the inside side panel.

♥ Cut one piece of red background paper 3 3/4" x 7 1/4" and adhere inside the middle panel of the card base.

♥ Cut a pattern paper with Hollyhocks flower design to side 3 1/2" x 7” and adhere on the inside of the card in the middle part.

♥ Cut one piece of  light pink background paper 3 3/4" x 7 1/4" and adhere on the back side in the middle of the card base.

♥ Cut two pieces of die cuts in Luxe silver cardstock using a combination of two dies from the Filigree Accents die and adhere under the side decorative die cut panel offsetting a little.

♥ Cut two pieces of die cuts in white cardstock using the swirly decorative edge die from the Filigree Accents die and two pieces in pink cardstock.

♥ Adhere the white die cut on the pink die cut and adhere the whole piece on the sides of the decorative die cut panel so that the die cut is set with design of the die cut panel.

♥ Repeat on the other side.

♥ Cut a piece of decorative die in white card stock and fold in to add as pocket inside the card.

♥ Cut tags and photo mats from pattern paper and add inside the pocket.

Step 3: Make a decorative Belly Band for the card.

Cut a piece of white card stock 2” x 8” and using the decorative edge border from the  Filigree Border and Accents die , cut out a decorative die cut piece.

♥ Cut a piece of vellum paper 2 1/2" x 7 1/2" and adhere this decorative lace die cut piece on top using designer dries clear glue.

♥ Fold over the middle part of the card and a satin ribbon with pearls on the back to close the band.

♥ While folding , do not fold back very tightly. Let the band be a little loose so that it can easily slide in and out of the card base.

Step 4: Make the Box for the card.

Add pattern paper inside the box and on the top of the box lid.

♥ Cut out a window using a paper cutter from the top of the box lid leaving 3/4" border all four sides.

♥ Cut 3 pieces of white die cut from  the  scalloped border die from the Filigree border and accents die and trim to add along the window edge.

♥ Cut slits along the inside line of the corner squares and fold in the tabs to make the lid and the base.

Step 5: Make the Hollyhocks Flowers and Leaves.

Stamp the images of the Hollyhock flowers using Vibrant Fuchsia Archival ink on the Deluxe flower shaping paper from the Hollyhock Petals and Leaves stamp set.

♥ Stamp the smaller leaves image with Library Green Archival ink.

♥ Colour the flowers with a blend of Vibrant Fuchsia and Plum ink. Color the leaves with library green and leaf green ink pad.

♥ Cut them using the coordinating die set and then shape the flowers using the 3D flower shaping mold.

♥ Adhere two flowers together and add one light yellow wire stamen in the centre. Add small white pollens in the centre of the filler flowers.

Step 6: Arrange the flowers and leaves on the card base. Along with some silver swirl die cuts cut from Filigree border and accents die set.

Arrange two to three flowers on the bellyband along with a few leaves, and add some flowers on the card base on the right panel.

♥ Arrange a few flowers on the box front

♥ Use hot glue to adhere the flowers and leaves.

♥ Add a satin bow on the box lid.

♥ Finish the card with a  sentiment print cut from the pattern paper.
