Let's get crafting!
Directions:
Step 1: Stamp and color the Images for your card.
♥ Stamp the rose banner from Elegant Rose Banner Cling Stamp set on a piece of watercolor cardstock using Plum Archival ink.
♥ Stamp the same image on another piece of white cardstock using any other ink just as a guide to die cut
♥ Stamp the sentiment from Celebrate Love Sentiments on a piece of watercolor cardstock using Olive Archival ink.
♥ Color the image stamped in Plum Archival ink using Altenew watercolors.
♥ Die cut the images using matching dies from Elegant Rose Banner die.
♥ Stack and adhere the stamped images to create a thicker banner piece.
Step 2: Make the card base.
♥ Score a 7 x 8 1/2” white cardstock at 3 ½” to create 3 ½” x 8 1/2” side folding card base.
♥ Die cut a piece of pattern paper from Floral Banners Paper Collection using the die from Simply Elegant Centerpiece die.
♥ Adhere it on a piece of 3 1/4” x 8 1/4” pattern paper from the same paper collection and trim off the excess.
♥ Adhere the above piece on the card base.
♥ Adhere the rose banner piece in the center of the die cut using double sided foam tape.
Step 3: Make the flowers.
♥ Stamp the flowers from Classic Rose Cling Stamp set on a piece of vellum using Hero arts Unicorn white pigment ink and heat emboss them using Wow white embossing powder and heat tool.
♥ Color the stamped flowers using Vibrant Fuchsia Archival ink and Stack and Store Daubers from the backside to avoid staining the white embossing.
♥ Color the smallest sized flowers with Paradise Teal Archival ink.
♥ Die cut them using the matching dies from Classic Rose die.
Step 4: Make the leaves.
♥ Stamp the leaves from Classic Rose Cling Stamp set on a piece of Deluxe flower shaping paper using Leaf Green Archival ink.
♥ Color them using Stack and Store Daubers, Leaf Green and Vibrant Fuchsia Archival inks.
♥ Die cut them using the matching die from Classic Rose die.
Step 5: Shape the flowers and leaves.
♥ Place the flowers and leaves in the 3D Rose Shaping Mold.
♥ Run through the diecutting machine.
♥ Finish shaping using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.
Step 6: Finish the flowers.
♥ Start with bigger petals and stack smaller petals on top slightly offset to create the open rose blossoms.
♥ Create a hole in the flower center and thread the stamens from Medium Pastel Pearl Stamens through the holes.
♥ Add a drop of Dries clear glue to the stamens base to glue them down.
♥ Cut off the extra stamen thread once the glue dries.
Step 7: Adhere flowers and leaves.
♥ Arrange the flowers.
♥ Adhere using hot glue.
Step 8: Add finishing touches.
♥ Add a few blue pearls to the die cuts.
♥ Add a few ladybugs made with Ebony Black and Red Berry Nuvo Crystal Drops.
