Let's Get crafting together!
Directions:
Step 1: Take an 8" x 12" piece of white cardstock and draw a light pencil guide along the middle at 4". Then score the cardstock as shown at 6" till the guide line on the upper half and on 1 1/2", 3" and 7 1/2". Cut the cardstock along the guide from the 1st score line at 1 1/2" till the last one at 7 1/2". Erase the pencil line. Fold the score lines as follows: mountain, valley, mountain, mountain.
Step 2: Die cut white cardstock pieces using the following dies: Sweetheart Borders Die : 3 pieces of Eyelet Heart Infused Border Eyelet Rectangle & Basics Die : 12 pieces of Rectangle 8 Intricate Swirl Frames Die : 1 piece of Intricate Swirl Frame 2 Album Tags and Accents Die : 1 piece of Large Tag 1, 1 piece each of Decorative Eyelet Accent 1 and 2. Petite Pocket Accents Die : 1 piece of Petite Pocket Accent Die 2.
Step 3: Ink the Decorative Eyelet Accent 1 from the Albums Tags and Accents die with Vibrant Fuchsia and Cactus Flower Archival Ink using Stack and Store Daubers. Stamp the sentiment from Words Of Encouragement Stamp Set on the Decorative Eyelet Accent 2 die cut from Album Tags and Accents Die using Jet Black Archival Ink and adhere it to the Decorative Eyelet Accent 1 using Darice Adhesive Foam Strips or 3D Foam Circles.
Step 4: Adhere the Intricate Swirl Frame 2 die cut from Intricate Swirl Frames Die on a slightly larger piece of pattern paper from Classic Petunia Paper Collection adhered on a piece of same sized white cardstock. Decorate the calendar base using the paper from the same paper collection. Adhere the Sweetheart Borders Die cuts on the border as shown, trim off the extra and then adhere the Intricate Swirl Frame piece on the left side of calendar base using Darice Adhesive Foam Strips. Again use these Foam Strips to adhere the sentiment panel we created in the last step on top.
Top Tip: Adhere the pattern papers on same sized white cardstock to add more strength to the paper if using dimensional adhesives. This prevents the sagging and unevenness.
Step 5: Die cut a piece of pattern paper from the same paper collection using the Large Tag 2 die from Album Tags and Accents Die and adhere it to the white die cut from Step 2. Take the Petite Pocket Accent Die cut and trace it on Rajni Chawla's Vellum Flowerite using pencil and cut the vellum. Adhere the vellum on the back of the die cut. Score the die cut 2" from the center on both sides. Apply the glue to the area on the outer side of the score line and a little in the center of the bottom edge. Adhere it around the Album Tags and Accents Die cut to create a pocket to keep the current month tag. Adhere this to the calendar base on the right side as shown.
Step 6: To create the storage pocket for the remaining months take a piece of 7 1/4" x 3" white cardstock and score at 1/2" on 3 sides. Cut off the corners where the score lines intersect and the fold the tabs. Cut a piece of 6" x 2 1/4" pattern paper from Classic Petunia Paper Collection and adhere it on the pocket. Take the Sweetheart Borders Die from step 1 and adhere it to the top border of the pocket.
Step 7: Adhere the pocket on the back of the calendar as shown and put in the extra month tags in this pocket.
Step 8: Cut 12 pieces of 2 1/8" x 3 1/8" pattern paper from Classic Petunia Paper Collection and adhere them to Eyelet Rectangle & Basics Diecut. Print monthly calendar for 2019 and cut the months to 2 1/8" width and trim the top and bottom. Adhere them on top of the pattern papers.
Step 9: Stamp the flowers from Floral Fashionista Cling Stamp Set using Cactus Flower and Majestic Violet Archival Ink and ink them with same inks using Stack and Store Daubers. Die cut them using the matching dies from Floral Fashionista Die.
Step 10: Shape them using 3D Petite Florals Shaping Mold and Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.
Step 11: Add Assorted Pearl Stamens and Bright Pearl Stamens to the flower centers.
Step 12: Stamp the leaves from Simply Classic Stamp Set using Olive Archival Ink and ink it with Leaf Green and Olive Archival Ink using Stack and Store Daubers. Die cut the leaves using matching die from Simply Classic Die.
Top Tip: Make more flower and leaves than you think you need so that you have extra in case you need more or you can save them for making quick future projects.
Step 13: Shape the leaves using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.
Step 14: Arrange and adhere the flowers as shown. Add few drops of Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops randomly on the flowers and leaves to mimic dew drops. Add a tiny lady bug made with Ebony Black and Red Berry Nuvo Crystal Drops.
Step 15: Add a few pearls and rhinestones for the finishing touch.
