We all love the look of the hollyhock blooms, perfect for creating floral gardenscapes with depth and variation in sizes, adding that unique feature to our flower gardens. Let's get crafting!

Directions: 

Step 1: Create the base for the Z Fold card.

♥ Take a smooth white cardstock measuring 7 1/2” x 12”. Score at 3” and 6” on longer side and crease well. 

♥ Cut 2 strips from white card stock measuring 3” x 12” . Score one at 3”, 6” and 9” and the other strip at 3/4”, 3 3/4”, 4 1/2”, 7 1/2”, 8 1/4” and finally at 11 1/4”. Fold as shown in opposite Z folds. 

Step 2: Cut all designer paper layers and adhere to the card base and strips as shown.

♥ You need 2 pieces measuring 2 3/4" x 7 1/4" and one piece measuring 5 3/4" x 7 1/4" for the main card front, cut from a scenic paper from the designer paper collection.

♥ Also, cut 6 pieces of 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" of deep green paper from the designer paper collection.

♥ Adhere all to the white card stock.

Step 3: Preparing the card box. 

♥ Adhere the narrower strip to the front of the card as shown to form a box in the card. 

♥ Adhere the front tab and the back tab to the inside of the “box” then press so the other two 1/2" sections adhere to the sides of the box. These are the dividers.

Step 4: Prepare stamped images.

♥ Stamp all the required images from Hollyhock Fence and Hollyhock Stem and Blooms with black archival ink.

♥ Die cut those using coordinating dies. 

Step 5: Color images.

♥ Paint all the images using Zig Clean Color Brush Markers.

Step 6: Prepare 3D Hollyhock flowers and foliage.

♥ Stamp all the required Hollyhock leafy stem with Olive green Archival ink and blooms with Rose Madder on Deluxe flower shaping paper. 

♥ Color the flowers using Rose Madder and Tea Rose and highlight the edges using Red Geranium Archival ink. 

♥ Color all the greens using Leaf Green, Olive Green and highlight the edges using Chrome Yellow Archival ink. 

Step 7: Shape flowers and leaves.

♥ Shape the flowers and leaves using Deluxe flower shaping tools. 

♥ Add flower pearls to the centers. Prepare large and medium 2 petal flowers and one petal small flowers. 

♥ Apply a coat of crystal lacquer for extra glossy shine. 

Step 8: Embelish card.

♥ Layer the painted floral stems of Hollyhock in the box using glue dots and the fence images in the front.

♥ Adhere Hollyhock flower stems and 3D flowers and leaves on the left side corner. 

♥ Adhere a small bouquet of flowers on the right side corner of the card front .

Step 9: Add sentiment.

♥ Diecut sentiment from Ornamental Tags Die.

♥ Adhere to top right card front.
