Let's get crafting!
Directions:
Step 1: Let’s begin with the flowers. For each flower, stamp 3 images of the same size plus two smaller from Large Garden Zinnia Cling Stamp Set and Small Garden Zinnia Cling Stamp Set. Use white pigment ink on vellum cardstock. Sprinkle white heat embossing powder on each stamp, dust extras and heat set using the Heat It Tool.
Step 2: Cut the florals using coordinating dies from Summer’s Garden collection.
Step 3: Color the florals using distress oxides: squeezed lemonade, shaded lilac and seedless preserves. Color one small image with bundled sage for each flower.
Step 4: Pinch the petals of the flowers one by one with your fingers.
Step 5: With the stylus, on the Deluxe flower shaping mat, press firmly to give shape to your petals. Glue the 3 flowers one on the other with a glue gun and put the smallest flower in the center. Pierce the center of each flower and insert a dozen stamens.
Step 6: With a glue gun, adhere the small green flower at the base of your petals. Solidify the metal wire by wrapping another wire around the stamens.
Step 7: Take an old mason jar, paint it with white gesso and then paint with pink acrylic paint.
Step 8: Arrange the flowers in the mason jar. There are 11 flowers is this jar. Adhere a ribbon around the neck of the jar. Use sand paper to give a distressed look.
Top Tip: Add rocks or floral foam inside the jar to help hold your composition together.
Step 9: Stamp and diecut the leaves and color with Bundled Sage. Glue them on metal wire. Use them to fill in the empty spaces in your flower arrangement.
Step 10: You can also add pink stamens to the jar to add a final touch.
