I took several classes last year, and LOVED every single one of them! I felt like I was surrounded by crafty friends, the teacher was so nice and helpful. I took one by Emma Lou herself, that was a real treat!! I LOVE Heartfelt Creations products, they are top quality, their stamps, dies, and paper are just wonderful to work with. The company is a company that you can trust, the people are amazing!! -Michelle Orsborn

Love every one of my Heartfelt Creation Stamps and Dies. They make my cards come to life!! -Debbie Schenz

Create a fun and easy to make Easter basket ready to be filled with Easter goodies for your loved ones.

This really is quick and easy to make. The basket itself takes approximately 10 - 15 mins and then of course decoration time. Just decorate as simple or ornate as you wish!

Not only are these great for Easter but they would make great wedding favors and would be perfect for Mother's Day too. All you need to do is change the sentiment! Have fun following this step by step tutorial.

Directions

Step 1 Cut a piece of paper/card 6" x 6" and score at 2".

TIP I adhered two papers together to get the colors I wanted to use for my basket.

Step 2 Score at 4".

Step 3 Turn the paper round and repeat step 1 and 2 so you have score lines that divide the card into 9 squares.

Step 4 Cut along the two scored lines on one side of the card until you meet the horizontal scored line.

Step 5 Turn the card round and repeat step 4 on the opposite side.

Heartfelt dies and stamps work so well. The papers are gorgeous. I make cards, and your line makes it so much easier to be inspired. Delivery is more than timely, it is here before you know it. Thank you for being there for us. Really love the dog line and the new wildlife line. Will make beautiful cards for men, and I know it seems harder to make cards for men.” -Linda Ann M

Love the quality of paper stamps and dies are truly exquisite. These collections make it easy to create beautiful cards for beginner, advanced cardmakers and scrapbookers alike. –Dorothy M

Step 6 Cut a piece of contrasting paper/card for the handle of the basket 8" x 1" and ink all of the edges.

Step 7 Glitter all of the flowers on the paper and the sides of the handle.

Step 8 Adhere the handle to the outer of the centre squares and adhere each side of the basket to the center over the end of the handle so that the points of  corners are touching each other.

Step 9 Your basket is now ready to be decorated.

Step 10 For the front of the basket stamp, cut, color, shape and glitter a dove, flowers and leaves. Cut a ticket from the paper pad and adhere everything to the basket. To see how to make the Flowering Dogwoods watch this video here.

Step 11 Decorate the back of the basket with a flower and leaves.

All that is left is to do is add your gift! Have fun making these cute little baskets! We would love to see what you make too, please share your projects with us on our Facebook Page.

TIP You can make these baskets in different sizes, just make the paper/card smaller or larger but stick to an even number in size (e.g. 4" x 4", 8" x 8") and of course make sure you shorten/lengthen the handle length accordingly!

This s a gorgeous basket, and easy to master, I really appreciate everything that Heartfelt Creations does. Your products are beautiful, your videos are so helpful, and your tips along the way in emails are always just what I need!! Have a beautiful spring and Easter!!

The thing about Heartfelt Creations Dies and stamps is that you don't buy just one stamp but up to 7 at a time so I find they are real value for money. I have several collections and you can often mix and match them too. They are the best product I have found since I started making cards many years ago.

Which ink color did you stamp the dove with? Thought of using Metallic Gold, then stamp with VersaMark, add iridescent Embossing Powder in place of glitter. I LOVE bling however, NOT a fan of Glitter...too messy for my comfort zone...haha
