Instructions: Click here for a closeup view of this layout. Cover the 12 x 12" chipboard with a pattern paper from Tropical paper collection using the designer glue. Take another pattern paper 11 x 11" and stick on the base. Tear here and there as shown. Insert brown corrugated paper where the paper is torn. Add some texture using stencil and modelling paste. Dry very well. Lay the center frame with picture and add some texture and layers with coruugated sheet, cardtock etc. Place the central picture and add the printed picture. Colour the chipboard oval frame and die cut and flourishes with white paint.
Stamp the leaves, parrot, cockatoo, and plumerias from the cling stamps and cut with coordinating die. Colour the plumeria flowers and leaves with their respective colour. Shape the flowers and leaves using the flower shaping tool kit and arrange the oval frame. Colour the birds with Zig real brush pens. Add the flowers and lots of leaves. Stamp and paint the parrot from the cling stamp set. Colour all the leaves very well. Arrange the parrot on the lower right part and add flowers and leaves all around. Cut tiny flowers from Classic rose collection. Add filler flowers. Insert some moss randomly.
Instructions: The top fold card with smooth white cardstock measures 7" x 7". Take a white card stock measuring 6 1/2" by 4 1/2" and tape down a Basic Fleur Die on the bottom. Run it through the die cutting machine. To create the background, smush Wild Honey Distress ink on the craft sheet and spritz water. Create a background by pressing the cardstock facing down. Lift and heat set. Once happy with colors add little textures using Prima Grungy Grid Stencil with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink. Stamp a random pattern with Tropical Parrot Cling Stamp with Black Archival. Now score the pattern at 1/8th of an inch each time. Cut a fancy lace border from white card stock and adhere to the backside of the ready stamped and inked panel. Now add a pattern paper from the same collection to create the base of stamped panel. The ready panel will now measure 15 cm by 14 cm. Layer it using foam dots to the ready panel on the black cardstock 1/4th cm bigger than the top stamped panel.
The focal image is stamped with black archival and painted using Zig Clean Brush Markers. The shades used are 041, 042, 045, 031, 032, 050, 052. For flowers, stamp multiple images with Magenta Hue Archival and paint them using Tea Rose and Magenta Hue. Shape the with deluxe shaping kit. For Leaves stamp multiple times with Library Green and cut them using its coordinating die. Paint them using leaf green and shape using Deluxe shaping kit. Brush all the leaves and flowers with clear crackle and sprinkle Crystal Clear and Frosty Powder randomly and heat set. The filler flowers are from Wildwood Florals Die. These are simply cut and lightly colored using Sunflower Archival ink and shaped. I have used a wired pollen to add a little stem to the filler flower. 3 swirly leaves are stamped with Library Green archival and painted using Leaf green. Dab it on Versa mark and sprinkle clear UTEE and heat set. A circle frame is cut from Classic circle die. Brush it with the adhesive that dries clear and sprinkle Elizabeth Craft Golden Glitter and dust extra. Burnish it with your fingers to get extra shine. Instructions: On white cardstock, stamp ten of the largest flower petal set with lavender ink, ten of the largest with pink ink. Stamp ten of the next size down petal set with each lavender and pink inks. This should give you petals enough to make twenty large flowers and forty of the medium sized flowers. Cut all petals with matching dies. Following the video above, sponge all petal edges with same ink as they were stamped in. Sponge the centers of the lavender petals with lime ink, and the centers of the pink petals with apricot ink. Using the video as a guide assemble your flowers. Coat all flowers with Mod Podge inside and out. Stamp tens sets of the smaller leaf cluster onto lime green cardstock using black ink. Cut leaves with matching die. You will use only the smaller leaves, you should have twenty. Sponge all leaf edges with evergreen ink. Cut off stems, poke a hole in that end using piercing nib from shaping kit and curve slightly with 8mm tip.
Cut a 36" piece of wire and start by treading two green beads on one end, twisting the wire up around beads to keep them from sliding off. With the paper piercing nib from tool kit, poke a hole in the center of one large and two small lavender flowers. String large flower first, then two beads, smaller flower, two beads, then third flower. Add one bead then the leaf, two more green beads then repeat with the pink & apricot flowers, using apricot beads in between these flowers. Keep repeating this process until all flowers are used. When you get to the end pull wire as close together as you can and twist them together. Wrap the twisted wire around the string wire several times and clip off long end. This makes a head band length of plumerias. If you want a Lei length I would stamp five more of each color large petals and ten more of each color of the smaller size petals and ten more leaves. Cut the wire at 54".
Other Products: Stickles in "Star dust", Stamping up! "Positively Pink" and "Moss Green", pink seam binding, a tiny bow button, pink and black card stock
Instructions: From the designer paper cut a 3.5 x 6" panel to make your tag. The base tag panel is made from pink card stock and it measures 4 x 6.5". On top of this layer, adhere a black 3.75 x 6.25" panel tag and then add the designer layer on top of these. This will make your tag base.
Now stamp, color and die cut the leaves and flamingo and shape. Adhere these to the bottom left hand side of the tag and then add a seam binding pink bow on the upper right hand corner. Embellish the bow with a couple of leaves and I added a tiny pink bow button to complete the tag.
Add a little stickles to the images for that added sparkle and you're done.
