Instructions: Make a 5" X 7" card base from white cardstock. Cut a 4 7/8" X 6 7/8" mat from pale aqua cardstock. Place 1" strip folder on left side and run through die cutting machine to emboss. Cut a 3 5/8" X 6 5/8" mat from a sheet of the paper collection as pictured. Glue onto aqua mat to the right of embossed area. Cut the oval from a neutral yellow paper from collection. I used the plain center die to create a frame, this step is optional. Glue the oval to card front, slightly to the right. Cut an 8" strip of trim and glue in place as pictured.

Using cocoa ink, stamp rose and two leaf spray images on Copic paper. Using same ink stamp two sets of large petals, four sets of medium petals, two sets of small petals onto pale yellow cardstock. Beautiful Red Rose Z Slider Card

Beautiful Red Rose Z Slider Card

Other Products: Want-2-Scrap, Self adhesive bling half pearls; INKS: Distress inks: Peeled paint, Forest moss, Barn door; PAPERS: Cardstock: Winter white, Red; OTHER: Heat gun, Versa-mark, Water coloring brush, Fussy cutting scissors, Diamond stickles, Foam tape, Hot glue gun

Watch this video https://youtu.be/Z8P070kC3oo to learn how to create dimensional roses.

Instructions: This is the basic instructions on how to cut a Z slider card that measures when finished 15 cm x 13.5 cm. Using a white base card stock cut for the card base, 27 cm x 13.5 cm. Make folds at 6 cm and 12 cm across the 27 cm side. Fold these creases to form hill and valley folds. Once the card base is folded, the measurements to be further used will be, 15 cm x 13.5 cm (background), 6 cm x 13.5 cm. (card front foot). Further, cut from the base card stock, 13 cm x 10 cm (card front) and 11.5 cm x 4.5 cm (card front slide). This can now be matted with the red contrasting card stock. All matting and design papers are trimmed 2mm smaller each side for each layer used.

Once the card background and the slider card piece is completed, the slider can be adhered to the top center of the card background. NOTE: When the card front is being put together, remember to leave the top of the card between the base and the matting layers open. This is so you can slide the slider between the layers. This part of the card holds it all upright and works as a stand. Adhere the card front to the card foot, making sure you have enough room for the slider to slide into the card front opening.

To make this card, please note, all the stamping is done with the gold embossing powder. Make the card base then, adhere the red matting to the card fronts. Stamp the background image to the winter white card stock twice. The second, so you can fussy cut the lower banner and die cut the sentiment banner. Color both backgrounds as seen in the photo. Stamp the rose with the red cardstock. Shape. Stamp the leaf swirls onto the winter white cardstock then color and die cut. Trim the background to fit the card front. Adhere to the front with double side foam tape. Adhere the sentiment banner also with foam tape. Adhere the fussy cut banner in place. Arrange the leaf swirls, trimming as you go. Adhere the roses in place with the glue gun. To finish the card apply a little stickles to give the roses a bit of bling.

To create this card, start by cutting a piece of purple card stock 5" x 9" and score on the 5" edge 2" in so you have a 5" x 7" and a 2" x 5" section. Next cut 2 additional purple panels, the first one 3" x 5" and the second 2 1/2" x 5". Also I decided the card front needed a little something more so I also cut a piece of Velum 5" x 7". The last pieces needed are a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of white cardstock for the inside and 3 panels cut from paper from the Blushing Rose Paper Collection. The 3 panels measure 1 3/4" x 4 3/4", 2 3/4" x 4 3/4" and 2 1/4" x 4 3/4".

To assemble the card start by folding your largest piece of Purple card stock on the score line and attach the velum to the inside of the flap. When closed you will have a 5" x 7" card that opens from the bottom. Next attach the designer paper panel that measures 1 3/4" x 4 3/4" to the front of the card. Now you will be left with 2 purple pieces and 2 designer paper pieces. Attach the pieces together matching up the sizes so that the designer paper is slightly smaller then the Purple card stock. Once your glue is dry, attach the 3" x 5" panel to the bottom of the velum and finally attach the last panel as shown. I centered this panel top to bottom and about 1" in from the right side but you can attach it anywhere you see fit. Tip: I found the card a little too flexible so I layered another piece of Purple card stock on the inside of the front cover that matches so that you have a little more strength.

The Classic Rose flowers were stamped on White cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with Black Opal Embossing Powder and cut with the matching die. They were distressed with ColorBox Wisteria Chalk Ink before shaping the flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. To finish them off they were brushed with Sugar Glitter Paste and a few flowers were also completed by adding crystal centers. The Blushing Rose Swirls were stamped on white cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with Black Opal Embossing Powder and cut with the matching die. They were distressed with Peeled Paint Distressed Ink and attached as shown.

To finish this card stamp the Blushing Rose Background Cling Stamp Set twice on white cardstock with Expresso Truffle Ink. One of these you will cut out with the matching die and the other one will be cutout with the Cut Mat Create 1A Die. Both were lightly distressed with Teal Zeal and the stamp for the inside of the card was completed by coloring with Derwent Watercolor Pencils.

Other Products: White and Purple Cardstock, Canson Watercolor Paper, Lace, Purple Ribbon, Gold Embossing Powder, Angel Wings Gold Embossing Powder, Dimensional Tape, Hot Glue, Creative Embellishments Chipboard Flourish Set 1, Vintage White Acrylic Paint, Scor-Tape, VersaMark Ink

Instructions: My card measures 4 1/2" X 5 3/4". Make card base and mat with purple cardstock and then apply a piece of the paper collection. Paint the chipboard piece and let dry; when dry, emboss with the Angel Wings Gold embossing powder and let dry.

Stamp rose stems with VersaMark, heat emboss with gold embossing powder, color, cut out and shape. Glue together to form a bouquet and tie a piece of the ribbon into a bow and hot glue it to the stems. Use Scor-Tape to adhere the lace and top with another piece of the ribbon. Next glue down the flourish piece and glue the rose bouquet to that. Then I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock and cut out using the tag die. I glued that to a piece of the purple cardstock and made into a sign. I used dimensional tape to adhere it to the front of the card.

Wow! Talk about lots of roses!! Paper crafting drama is all its glory! As much as I like to create dimensional roses, my favorite project is Kathleen's beautiful card. Her use of a rose embossing folder has really drawn my attention. I'm looking forward to seeing how I can do this for myself. Lovely!

I absolutely love your products and videos. I can't wait til you come back to New Hampshire. We love seeing everyone at the booth and demonstrating the products. I am now saving my pennies for next year. Thank you Emma Lou for being responsive to my email. It means so much to me. When I'm in work I can't wait to get home and do cards. However when I do get home I'm so exhausted I just watch you videos. Can't wait for my next day that I have all to myself and start with making cards A friend of mine in work bought 3 of my cards and said his wife loved them so much that there is a special place in their dining room that they show them off. Take care and all my best to everyone at Heartfelt Creations I recognize names but haven't met everyone, yet I feel like everyone is a friend

I have to thank the entire heartfelt creations team for all your inspirations. I had never heard of scrapbooking until i was in a pretty bad accident that broke my neck and did alot of nerve and muscle damage. I could no longer work and everyone i knew worked. So i got pretty depressed because i knew one to visit during the day. My daughter talked me into takeing scrapbooking classes just down the road from where i live. The rest is history. I have most of your collections. I can only work at it a couple hours at a time but it saved my life. Thank you so much for your videos' they are so much help to me. Linda Montague
