Hi Friend,
How is your week going? Are you and the family enjoying the crisp fall days?  It's the perfect time of year to grab your favorite fall pumpkin spiced  beverage, get comfy and prepare to be inspired!

These past couple weeks, I had the opportunity to teach in Canada and met so many wonderful crafters, however one of my favorite things was seeing crafters have the "aha moment" as they shaped their flowers and put together beautiful projects in class. Many of them went from feeling like they couldn't before the class started....and with some simple steps throughout the class got stunning flowers and projects. Maybe you find yourself in that spot today.....your creativity is stuck or maybe you've seen these beautiful projects, and thought to yourself, "I could never do that."

The only thing between you and these beautiful florals and projects is just doing it, following the directions, and practicing.....anytime you learn something new, you make some mistakes, but life is great at teaching us that mistakes aren't failures when we learn through them.....plus there is no such things as "mistakes" in crafting....it gives you the perfect opportunity to embellish!

Guess what!!!!!! You asked and here it is.......ta da.....the Vellum Rose video: https://youtu.be/JFsuwlZHNCw. This has been a highly requested tutorial and I am happy to bring it to you today!

What type of seam binding are you using on your projects? How wide and is it silk?

Hi Pam, We do not sell this product. We did buy a roll from a distributor and it was in their Sewing and Quilting category. We hope this helps.

I use "Hug Snug" Seam Binding. You can buy it on Amazon and it comes in many colors or you can purchase white and dye it yourself with Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist or other spray inks.

These roses are so beautiful. I just love the vellum roses on the video. Something that might make them a little easier on your finger tips is a Glue Gun Helper. [I forget who makes it but you can find it through Google-I got mine from Amazon]. The Helper comes with finger protectors and tweezers with rubber tips and also a tool to hold glued pieces together--so handy--with a rubber mat. It is also very reasonable. I discovered it by watching a craft video on Youtube.
